Obama: The Bright Side
By Bubba on Jun 3, 2010 | In Corruption Culture, Letters, Obama, Liberal Monsters, Just Sayin' | 1 feedback »
Here's the content of another great email. The author is unknown to me.
Remember when a Hillary Presidency scared the daylights out of you?
Obama destroyed the Clinton Political Machine, driving a stake thru the Heart of Hillary's Presidential aspirations - something no Republican was ever able to do.
He killed off the Kennedy Dynasty - No more Kennedys trolling Washington looking for booze and women wanting rides home. American women and freedom are safer tonight!
He is destroying the Democratic Party before our eyes!
Dennis Moore had never lost a race - quit
Evan Bayh had never lost a race - quit
Byron Dorgan - had never lost a race - quit
Harry Reid - bid for re-election doesn't look good
These are just a handful of the Democrats whose political careers Obama has destroyed, by the end of 2010 dozens more will be!
In December of 2008 the Democrats were on the rise. In the last two election cycles they had picked up 14 senate seats and 52 house seats. The press was touting the death of the Conservative Movement and the Republican Party.
In one year Obama put a stop to all of this and will probably give the House, if not the Senate back to the Republicans.
He has completely exposed liberals and progressives for what they are.
Every generation seems to need to relearn the lesson on why they should never actually put liberals in charge. He is bringing home the lesson very well!
Liberals tax, borrow and spend - check
Liberals won't bring themselves to protect America - check
Liberals want to take over the economy - check
Liberals think they know what is best for everyone - check
Liberals aren't happy till they are running YOUR life - check
He has brought more Americans back to conservatism than anyone since Reagan.
In one year he rejuvenated the Conservative Movement and brought out to the streets millions of Freedom Loving Americans. Name me one other time in your life that you saw your friends and neighbors this interested in taking back America !
In all honesty, one year ago I was more afraid than I had ever been in my life. Not of the economy, but of the direction our country was going. I thought Americans had forgotten what this country was all about. My neighbors, friends, strangers proved to me that my lack of confidence of the greatness and wisdom of the American people was flat out wrong.
When the American People wake up, no smooth talking teleprompter reader can fool them!
Obama woke up these Great Americans.
Thank you Obama!
So, Lets Recap "2009".........what a year!, would you not agree?
1. The American people inaugurate a half-Arab president with a total of 142 days experience as a US Senator from the most politically corrupt state (city) in America whose governors have been ousted from office. The President's first official act is to order the closure of Gitmo and make sure terrorist’s civil rights are not violated. (Honest mistake?)
2. The U.S. Congress rushes to confirm a Attorney General, Eric Holder, whose law firm we later find out represents seventeen Gitmo Terrorists. (An honest mistake?)
3. The CIA Boss appointee, Leon Panetta, has absolutely no experience.
4. We got the second most corrupt American woman (Pelosi is #1) as Secretary of State; bought and paid for. (You can put lipstick on a pig, but it still stinks!)
5. We got a Tax Cheat for Treasury Secretary who did not properly file his own taxes for 12 years. (He misspoke!)
6. A Commerce Secretary nominee who withdrew due to corruption charges. (Another honest mistake?)
7. A Tax cheat nominee for Chief Performance Officer who withdrew under charges. (Hmmm...Another screw-up?)
8. A Labor Secretary nominee who withdrew under charges of unethical conduct. (Ok, maybe this person was just plain stupid.)
9. A Secretary HHS nominee (Daschle) who withdrew under charges of cheating on his taxes. (I'm running out of excuses for these idiots!!)
10. Multiple appointments of former lobbyists after an absolute campaign statement that no lobbyists would be appointed. (Dear God, I am getting a headache!)
All this occurred just during the first three weeks. . . But who's counting?
America is being run by the modern-day Three Stooges; Barry, Nancy and Harry and they are still trying to define stimulus..."it's spending!!!"
The congress passes the $800,000,000,000 (that's $800 billion) pork-loaded spending bill where the government gives you a smidgen of your tax dollars ($13 per week), making you feel so good about yourself [stimulated], that you want to run out to Wal-Mart and buy a new Chinese-made HDTV!
Here's the good news though - Obama took Air Force One to Denver to sign the stimulus package, wasting as much as 10,000 gallons of fuel OR 24 JOBS FOR ONE YEAR.
Obama went to the International Olympic Committee to have them choose Chicago for a host city - he failed
Obama went to Copenhagen to lecture them on global warming - he failed
Obama went to New Jersey to promote the Democratic candidate for governor -he failed
Obama went to Virginia to promote the Democratic candidate for governor - he failed
Obama went to Massachusetts to promote the Democratic candidate for senator - he failed
Obama has now been president for a full year and yet he & wife (first lady) Michelle, the Christian family they claim to be, have not attended church since the inauguration.
Obama is the 1st president in history who did not attend any Christmas religious observance. He must miss Reverend Wright!
And finally, he is the 1st president to remain on vacation after a terrorist attack ( Ft. Hood ).
Obviously this is not recently written because the list of Obama/dhimicrat screw-ups is incomplete. But who, really, could possibly keep that list up to date?
An Open Letter to the “Liberty Candidates”
By Bubba on Apr 16, 2010 | In Letters, Tea Party, Pauly-Jonesy, Kokesh | 1 feedback »
Regarding: Adam Kokesh
(a complete list of recipients can be found at the bottom of this letter)
We are writing to you to express our grave concerns about one of your fellow Liberty candidates, Adam Kokesh. More importantly, in view of these concerns and to the point of this letter, we are asking that you disavow Mr. Kokesh and distance yourself from him politically.
Mr. Kokesh has an extensive and well-documented history of affiliations with radical leftist groups. In concert with these groups, he has engaged in numerous anti-America and anti-military demonstrations and protests. Further, Mr. Kokesh does not appear to have any personal qualifications that would recommend him for serious consideration as a candidate for Congress, and he has a significant history suggestive of poor character and judgment.
Of primary concern to us is that Mr. Kokesh’s anti-military actions were designed to undermine our military during a time of war, and, more egregiously, were designed to undermine and impugn the honor of our soldiers who were fighting and dying on the battlefield. Most people would see these actions as having been dishonorable; many of us see them as being traitorous.
For those of you that are not familiar with Mr. Kokesh’s extensive history of affiliations with radical lefist groups, we have appended this letter with a brief review of those affiliations (see below, Appendix I). Additionally, there are a numbers of internet resources that you can utilize for your own research on Mr. Kokesh. We have also appended this letter with links to some websites that contain relevant information (see below, Appendix II).
Most of us are well aware of the devastating effect that the anti-military actions of the left during the Vietnam War had on both our country at large and on our veterans in particular. Many of us lived through that. We are well aware of the suffering of those veterans as they returned to a country that had been incited to impugn their honor and condemn them.
Be assured that there are countless numbers of patriotic Americans who vowed that never again would our soldiers be subjected to the traitorous assault of the radical leftist groups within our own country. We, the undersigned, are among those numbers. It is for this reason that we stand in solid opposition to Mr. Kokesh. We stand in total solidarity with our soldiers and veterans. We ask you to take the same principled stand. We ask that you disavow Mr. Kokesh and, by extension disavow the entire radical anti-America forces that are within our country, and that are seeking to destroy us from within. We ask that you stand in solidarity with our troops.
It is with great interest that we look forward to a response from you.

_____________________________________________________________
APPENDIX I - Review of Mr. Kokesh’s history
Affiliations with radical leftist groups
Mr. Kokesh joined the Iraq Veterans Against War (IVAW) in February 2007, at which time he was 25 years old. The IVAW was formed by the Vietnam Veterans Against War (VVAW), the now infamous group formed by John Kerry in 1970, and responsible for the fraudulent maligning of our Vietnam veterans at the Winter Soldier Conference in 1971. It will be recalled that John Kerry now stands exposed as having repeated false accusations from that conference, during his Congressional testimony in 1971. Similar to the VVAW, the IVAW is a virulently anti-military, anti-America group. It holds the view that our country is an imperialistic and expansionistic “One World Order” government, and that our military is but a tool of this government. Further, they believe that our soldiers are little more than marauders and murderers who, in the words of John Kerry, behave “in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan”.
Mr. Kokesh was active in the IVAW from 2007 to 2009, at which time he announced his candidacy for Republican Congressman from New Mexico. There are no indications that he has revoked his affiliations with the IVAW. As an active member of the IVAW, Mr. Kokesh was involved in numerous anti-militaryactivities and actions. While executing these actions, Mr. Kokesh knowingly made common cause with a wide array of other well-known, radical anti-America and communist groups. The list of these other groups includes, but is by no means limited to, the following:
SDS
Code Pink
A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition
United for Justice and Peace
Communist Party of America
Muslim Brotherhood
Black Panthers
In cooperation with the above-named groups and the IVAW, Mr. Kokesh: participated in multiple anti-war demonstrations in Washington DC, and other cities throughout the country; organized and incited violent demonstrations at military recruiting stations; participated in an initiative to encourage active duty soldiers to desert their military post; and, organized and participated in a Winter Soldier Conference 2, an effort designed to malign and undercut the morale of our soldiers who were fighting and dying on the battlefield. Even a most cursory search of the Internet will yield a plethora of documents attesting to the veracity of these assertions.
Character Issues
Mr. Kokesh’s personal accomplishments and achievements appear to be limited to his having served in the Marine Corps from 1999 until 2006, and his subsequent work as a political activist with the IVAW from 2007 until 2009. His MC service was basically unremarkable, in terms of citations, medals, and commendations, and it was ultimately marked by a demotion in his discharge rank from Sergeant to Corporal, and a downgrading of his discharge status from honorable to general. Mr. Kokesh’s tenure with the IVAW has been noted above and need not be repeated here.
There are no indications that Mr. Kokesh has ever maintained any private sector employment. Unless otherwise proven, it might be assumed that his ‘work’ with the IVAW was financed through contributions to that organization, finances that often originated in radical leftist organizations such as MoveOn.org.
There are no indications that Mr. Kokesh has achieved any notable academic standing. This fact, coupled with his young age and his otherwise lack of personal accomplishments, leave little that would recommend him for serious consideration for Congress.
There are numbers of incidents in Mr. Kokesh’s personal life that suggest that he employs poor judgment. Examples of this include the following: he smuggled a gun home from Iraq, and then was apprehended when he bought it onto a college campus; he has incited protestors to engage in violent actions against military recruiting stations; and, he incited unrest on a college campus by hanging racist poster around the campus, having signed the posters as being from members of the college’s conservative Republican
organization.

Moving to Mexico
By Bubba on Apr 12, 2010 | In Letters, Just Sayin' | Leave Comment »
Dear Mr. President:
I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me. We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico, and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements. We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here.
So, would you mind telling your buddy, President Calderon, that I'm on my way down? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following:
1. Free medical care for my entire family.
2. English-speaking government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not.
3. Please print all Mexican government forms in English.
4. I want my grandkids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers.
5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history.
6. I want my grandkids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school.
7. Please plan to feed my grandkids at school for both breakfast and lunch.
8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services and be able to vote.
9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico but, I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws.
10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, Please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer.
11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my house top, put U S. flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals.
12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start.
13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say a critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy.
14. I want to receive free food stamps.
15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies.
16. I'll need Income tax credits so although I don't pay Mexican Taxes, I'll receive money from the government.
17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Gov't pays $ 4,500 to help me buy a new car.
18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in retirement.
I know this is an easy request because we already do all these things for all his people who come to the U.S. from Mexico.. I am sure that President Calderon won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely.
Thank you so much for your kind help.
You're the man!!!

As sent to metroeds@newsobserver.com
Dear News & Observer,
This is news worth reporting.
Jan 9, 2010
A federal judge ruled against the Council on American-Islamic Relations today in its lawsuit against a father and son who carried out a six-month undercover investigation of the D.C.-based Muslim group, denying a request to conduct discovery ? an examination of its opponent's witnesses, facts and documents ? prior to hearing a motion to dismiss the case.
CAIR is suing P. David Gaubatz and his son, Chris Gaubatz, for allegedly stealing sensitive internal documents and making recordings of officials without consent. Chris Gaubatz, who posed as a Muslim in an internship with CAIR's national office in Washington, took some 12,000 pages of documents destined for a shredder in an attempt, he said, to expose the group's ties to Islamic jihad and terrorism. His father is a former Air Force special agent with extensive Middle East experience who researches the spread of radical Islam in the U.S. and its threat to national security.
Get the whole scoop at Judge Rules Against CAIR
In your report don't forget to cover the fact that the CAIR chairman is NC State Senator Larry Shaw (D-Fayetteville).
Watching and Waiting for the story in the N&O,

Letter to Senator Ben Nelson
By Bubba on Dec 20, 2009 | In Letters, Liberal Monsters | Leave Comment »
The following is my letter to Senator Ben Nelson, NB.
Submitted through his senate website email form
Reference: The High Price of Ben Nelson's Low Vote
Senator Nelson,
I have been following closely the controversy surrounding your vote on the the Health Care deal.
When at first it appeared that you would stand on principle and morality by refusing to vote for cloture, I had doubts.
After witnessing the sell of integrity by several other congressmen, I wondered what your price would ultimately be.
You claimed to be the holdout based on the language of abortion funding in the bill - an issue of morality.
Your website stated on December 17 at
NELSON COMMENTS ON ABORTION COMPROMISE the following excerpt:
"Senator Nelson reiterated that he will not be able to support a cloture motion needing 60 votes to end debate on the underlying Senate bill if certain language in the bill remains. The existing language allows public funds to pay for abortion, thus relaxing the longstanding Hyde amendment."
However, on December 19 you posted NELSON STATEMENT ON HEALTH CARE DEAL, which said:
" I believe we have accomplished that goal.
Less as a threat, and more of a promise – let me be clear. This cloture vote is based on a full understanding that there will be a limited conference between the Senate and House. If there are material changes in the conference report to this bill that adversely affect this agreement, I reserve the right to vote against the next cloture vote. Let me repeat: if the conference report has material changes to this agreement, I am reserving the right to vote against cloture."
I'm having a lot of trouble reconciling those two statements and can only conclude that one or both of them were lies.
Either way, you are making it possible for the most corrupt congress in our nation's history to pass and enforce the most corrupt piece of legislation.
And you are attempting to justify your betrayal with the flowery language of political speak; you lie.
It's not too late to change your mind ... again. While a few of the people of the great state of Nebraska will think it's a great thing that you've secured some really good savings that other states will never smell - I reckon the majority are going to see your action for what is - dipping your toe in the treason pool.
Letter to Glenn Beck
By Bubba on Sep 24, 2009 | In Letters | 3 feedbacks »
I got this in an email.
Supposedly, it's a letter sent to Glenn Beck from a lady in Arizona.
I can't verify any of that. I don't know who really wrote it or to whom.
Neither do I care, because it speaks my mind.
June 18, 2009 10:01 PM
The woman who sent the long email letter below to Glenn Beck made her name known to him in a telephone interview the next night. She is Janet Contreras, a 53 year old woman in Arizona , a citizen fed up with the House, Senate, Administration, Democrats, Republicans.
During the interview she said "I don't want this. I don't want this fight, Glenn. I don't have the time, energy or financial resources for it but that no longer matters. It no longer matters if I'm able or if I want this fight. I have to take it on. It's not a matter of choice anymore, which is why I wrote the letter."
"The other part of this is that the invisible people who can and do represent my views need to come out of the shadows. I don't know who they are. They're going to get washed away with the rest of them if they don't have the courage to stand up against the Administration and those members of the House and Senate who are destroying our country and our values."
Janet Contreras
Phoenix, Arizona
I am a home grown American citizen, 53, registered Democrat all my life. Before the last presidential election I registered as a Republican because I no longer felt the Democratic Party represents my views or works to pursue issues important to me. Now I no longer feel the Republican Party represents my views or works to solve issues important to me. The fact is I no longer feel any political party or representative in Washington represents my views or works to solve the issues important to me.
There must be someone. Please tell me who you are. Please stand up and tell me you are there and you are willing to fight for our Constitution as it was written. Please stand up now. You might ask what are my views and issues that I feel so horribly disenfranchised by both major political parties. Well, these briefly are my views and the issues for which I seek representation:
One - Illegal Immigration. I want you to stop coddling illegal immigrants and secure our borders. Close the underground tunnels. Stop the violence and the trafficking in drugs and people. No amnesty. Never again. Been there, done that, no resolution. PS, I am not a racist. This isn't to be confused with legal immigration.
Two - The TARP Bill. I want it repealed and I want no further funding supplied to it. We told you no, but you did it anyway. I want the remaining unfunded 95% repealed. Freeze, repeal. TARP (Troubled Asset Relief Program). The Wall Street handout bill, under President Bush, to address the subprime mortgage crisis, to purchase or insure up to $700 billion of "troubled" assets.
Three - Czars. I want the circumvention of our checks and balances stopped immediately.. Fire the 37 czars. No more czars. Government officials answer to the process, not to the president. Stop trampling on our Constitution and honor it.
Four - Cap And Trade. The debate on global warming is not over. There is more to say.
Five - Universal Health Care. I will not be rushed into another expensive decision. Don't you dare try to pass this in the middle of the night and go on break. Slow down.
Six - Growing Government Control. I want States Rights and sovereignty fully restored. I want less government in my life, not more. Shrink it down. Mind your own business. You have enough to take care of with your real obligations. Start there.
Seven - ACORN. I do not want ACORN and its affiliates in charge of our 2010 census. I also want them investigated. I also do not want mandatory escrow fees contributed to them on every real estate deal that closes. Stop the funding to ACORN and its affiliates pending impartial audits and investigations. I do not trust them taking the census over with our taxpayer money. I want all our money to them stopped. Face up to the allegations against them and get them resolved before getting any more involved with them. If it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hello. Stop protecting your political buddies. You work for us, the people. Investigate.
Eight - Redistribution Of Wealth. No, no, no. I work for my money. It is mine. I have always worked for people with more money than I have because they gave me jobs. That is the only redistribution of wealth that I will support. I never got a job from a poor person. Why do you want me to hate my employers? Why? What do you have against shareholders making a profit?
Nine - Charitable Contributions. Although I never got a job from a poor person, I have helped many in need. Charity belongs in our local communities, where we know our needs best and can use our local talent and local resources. Butt out, please. We want to do it ourselves.
Ten - Corporate Bailouts. Knock it off. Sink or swim like the rest of us. If there are hard times ahead we'll be better off just getting into it and letting the strong survive. Quick and painful. Have you ever ripped off a BandAid? We will pull together. Great things happen in America under great hardship. Give us the chance to innovate. We cannot disappoint you more than you have disappointed us.
Eleven - Transparency And Accountability. How about it? No, really, how about it? Let's have it. Let's say we give the buzzwords a rest and have some straight honest talk. Please try. Please stop manipulating and trying to appease me with clever wording. I am not the idiot you take me for. Stop sneaking around and meeting in back rooms making deals with your friends. It will only be a prelude to criminal investigation of you. Stop hiding things from me.
Twelve - Unprecedented Quick Spending. Stop it now. Take a breath. Listen to the people. Let's just slow down and get some input from some non politicians on the subject. Stop making everything an emergency. Stop speed reading our bills into law.
I am not an activist. I am not a community organizer. Nor am I a terrorist, militant or violent person. I am a parent and grandparent. I work. I'm busy. I'm busy and I'm tired. I thought we elected competent people to take care of the business of government so we could work, raise our families, pay our bills, have recreation, complain about taxes, endure our hardships, pursue our goals, cut our lawn, wash our cars on weekends, be responsible contributing members of society and teach our children to be the same - all while living in the home of the free and land of the brave.
I entrusted you with upholding the Constitution. I believed in the checks and balances to keep from getting far off course. What happened? You are very far off course.
Do you really think I find humor in the hiring of a speed reader to unintelligently ramble through a bill you signed into law without knowing what it contained? I do not. It is a mockery of the responsibility I have entrusted to you. It is a slap in the face. I am not laughing at your arrogance.
Why is it that I feel you would not trust me to make a single decision about my own life and how I would live it, but you expect I should trust you with the debt you have, without caring or conscience, laid on all of us and our children. We did not want the TARP bill. We said no. We would repeal it if we could. I am sure we still can. There is such urgency and recklessness in all of your recent spending.
From my perspective, it seems all of you have gone insane. I also know I am far from alone in these feelings. Do you honestly feel your current pursuits have merit to patriotic Americans? We want it to stop. We want to put the brakes on everything that is being rushed passed us and forced upon us. We want our voice back. You have forced us to put our lives on hold to straighten out the mess you are making.
We will have to give up our vacations, time spent with our children, any relaxation time we may have had and money we cannot afford - to spend on you - to bring our concerns to Washington. Our president knows all the buzzwords are unsustainable. No kidding. How many tens of thousands of dollars did the focus group cost to come up with those buzzwords? We don't want your overpriced words. Stop treating us like morons.
We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long - because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented.
You think we're so busy with our lives we will never come for you? We are the former silent majority, all who quietly work, pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone - and we are now closely looking at you and the huge mess you created for all of us. You have awakened in us the patriotic spirit, so strong and so powerful that had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Our numbers are great. They will surprise you. For every one of us who come after you there will be hundreds more who could not come.
Unlike you we have their trust. We will represent them honestly. Rest assured they will be at the polls on voting day to usher you out of office. We have cancelled vacations. We will use our last few dollars saved. We will find the representation among us and a grassroots campaign will flourish. We didn't ask for this fight. But the gloves are off. We are very angry.
You will represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will. There are candidates among us who will rise like a Phoenix from the ashes you have made of our constitution.
Democrat, Republican, Independent, Libertarian. Understand this. We don't care. Political parties are meaningless to us. Patriotic Americans are willing to do right by us and our Constitution and that is all that matters to us now.
We are going to fire all of you who abuse power and seek more. It is not your power. It is ours and we want it back. We entrusted you with it and you abused it.
You are dishonorable. You are dishonest. As Americans we are ashamed of you. You have brought shame to us in front of the whole world. If you are not representing the needs of your constituency loudly and consistently, in spite of the objections of your party, you will be fired. Did you hear that? We no longer care about your political parties. You need to be loyal to us, not to them. Because we will fire you and they cannot save you.
If you do or can represent me, my issues, my views, please stand up. Make your identity known. You need to make some noise about it. Speak up. I need to know who you are. If you do not speak up, you will be herded out with the rest of the sheep and we will replace the whole damn congress if need be one by one. We are coming. Are we coming for you? Who do you represent? What do you represent? Listen. Because we are coming. We the people are coming.

Letter to Passport Office
By Bubba on Aug 20, 2009 | In Letters | Leave Comment »
I received the following letter via email attachment. Supposedly it was written and sent to the US Passport office. I can't verify it's validity, nor care to ... truth is truth, whether or not actually spoken.
Read it if you will, but be warned: There's some LANGUAGE in this one.
Dear Sirs,
I'm in the process of renewing my passport, and still cannot believe this. How is it that Radio Shack has my address and telephone number and knows that I bought a cable TV from them back in 1987, and yet, the Federal Government is still asking me where I was born and on what date. For Christ sakes, do you guys do this by hand? My birth date you have on my social security card, and it is on all the income tax forms I've filed for the past 30 years. It is on my health insurance card, my driver's license, on the last eight damn passports I've had, on all those stupid customs declaration forms I've had to fill out before being allowed off the plane over the last 30 years, and all those insufferable census forms that are done at election times.
Would somebody please take note, once and for all, that my mother's name is Maryanne, my father's name is Robert and I'd be absolutely astounded if that ever changed between now and when I die!!!!!!
I apologize; I'm really pissed off this morning. Between you an' me, I've had enough of this bullshit! You send the application to my house, and then you ask me for my fu**in' address. What is going on? You have a gang of Neanderthal assholes working there! Look at my damn picture. Do I look like Bin Laden? I don't want to dig up Yasser Arafat, for shit sakes. I just want to go and park my ass on a sandy beach.
And would someone please tell me, why would you give a shit whether I plan on visiting a farm in the next 15 days? If I ever got the urge to do something weird to a chicken or a goat, believe you me, I'd sure as hell not want to tell anyone!
Well, I have to go now, 'cause I have to go to the other end of the city and get another fu**in' copy of my birth certificate, to the tune of $60. Would it be so complicated to have all the services in the same spot to assist in the issuance of a new passport the same day?? Nooooo, that'd be to damn easy and maybe makes sense. You'd rather have us running all over the fu**in' place like chickens with our heads cut off, then find some asshole to confirm that it's really me on the damn picture - you know, the one where we're not allowed to smile?! (bureaucratic fu**in' morons). Hey, you know why we can't smile? We're totally pissed off!
Signed
An Irate Citizen.
P.S. Remember what I said above about the picture and getting someone to confirm that it's me? Well, my family has been in this country since 1776. I have served in the military for something over 30 years and have had security clearances up the yin yang. However, I have to get someone 'important' to verify who I am - you know someone like my doctor WHO WAS BORN AND RAISED IN INDIA!
And we want them to run our health care?!?
Letter to WhiteHouse Website (Updates 08/07)

Updates August 07
I'm still receiving CC's of letters to the Whitehouse website. Here's a couple of good ones for today.
You need to go ahead and put me on your list, spud. Long as I live and breath I shall stand against Socialist tyranny and the usurping of States rights by an out of control Federal government. You people seek to cow those Americans that do not go along with your designs and your agenda. Bad idea.
The folks I hang out with don't run and we don't hide. Most of them have worn or are wearing today the uniforms of our American military and/or of one of our American law enforcement agencies. Get one of your staff to run a statistical estimate of how many of us there are in the U.S. right this minute. Now think about that number a while. Do you really want to go out of your way to piss us off?? Another bad idea. The 2010 election cycle is just not that far away.
You can find me if you so desire - you have Political resources and tax-payers money to work with. Other than Sept 10 -12, when I'm in Washington, D.C. - with a bunch of those folks I hang out with, I'll be at the house. You Democrat Socialists started this contest - it remains to be seen if you can finish it.

I wish to add my personal response to your efforts to destroy freedom of speech and I am proud to add my name to what will become a long line of Americans who refuse to bow down to those who use fear to control American citizens.
Add me to those who echo these words.
In response to your "battle plans," I say bring it on! I'm certain that you can track my email address to ascertain who I am. I do not and never will fear my own government!
Those who stand silent in fear of this vile program better check to insure they have not lost there freedom as a American citizen and become a sheep.
Those who use this site to report on there fellow American citizens had better remember these words and remember them well

To Whom It May Concern:
I saw your notice from the White House today:
There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.
I would like to report myself for opposing your plan to bankrupt our nation and bypass our Constitution. In the spirit of John Hancock, I want to make sure that you can read my signature.
Sincerely,

Raleigh, North Carolina

Another reader, Jim 'Toothless Dawg' Holmes reports that he used the WhiteHouse email address to send them a copy of HB-3200 (Hellth Scare Bill). Saying "It certainly fits the description of reform that seems fishy (translated: STINKS). Anything to help the Joker.

A Tale of Two Reporters
By Bubba on Aug 6, 2009 | In Letters | Leave Comment »
This was sent to me by James Bancroft in Connecticut
Jim said:
This video records two Hartford Courant reporters asking me questions about a town hall gathering of Rep Chris Murphy.
[The actual article they printed is linked below ~~ Bubba]
Notice how their story dismisses what we say and is nothing more than Democrat propaganda
It is the recording of the two reporters from the Hartford Courant to compare with what they actually wrote compared to what they heard from people there.
The reporters knew that the accusations that people are paid organizers is a lie, they were told how the Democrat supporters were carrying Union bought and paid for signs, and repeatedly were told that people were there on their own accord.
Yet, how is the story told?
Please note, while we had over 200 people there AGAINST Rep Chris Murphy, there was NOT ONE CAMERA crew there form ANY of the local television stations

A letter from Chris Hill, Director of Operations, Gathering of Eagles
Back in February I had the high honor to meet an Iraq vet who lost a leg while serving with the 1/25 Marines in Al Anbar Province. Neither he nor the triple amputee who accompanied him to a Fischer House Benefit as the guests of Second Brigade and Viet Nam Vets MC exhibited anything other than the warrior spirit. In fact, they insisted that the first drink of the evening had to be drunk from their prosthetic legs. Now that was a sight to see.
Several months later, that same vet approached me for an assist. He has been fighting with the V.A. over medical bills related to his wounds. Bills were mounting. I put him in touch with Al Gambone, an attorney I’ve mentioned on this site to get that problem in check. Unfortunately, he was also behind on his mortgage through no fault of his own. I tried various avenues to come up with cash to prevent the foreclosure, to no avail. This morning I was listening to Dennis Miller’s radio show and he mentioned his participation with USA Cares as a spokesman and proponent (USACares.org). Figuring I had nothing left to lose, I ponied up the $18.00 to join the DMZ, Miller’s premium subscription package, so I could email him personally.
In my email, I explained about our wounded Marine and the trials he has been forced to withstand since returning home. I explained how we had found an attorney, but had to prevent this Hero from losing his home. I simply asked him to put me into contact with someone from USA Cares and let me plead the case. If this fails I said, “We’ll have to start selling blood,” because there’s no way I’m letting one of my heroes lose his home, especially with a new baby on the way. Anyway, within an hour, the retired Sgt Major who started USA Cares called me personally. He took down our Marine’s phone number and promised to help. The Sgt Major also insisted that in the future GoE and USA Cares would collaborate to reach and assist more of our heroes. Dennis Miller, who was on the air at the time, had read my email, contacted the Sgt Major and my phone rang. While all this was happening, Miller’s show never missed a beat. In this day and age when we have come to expect Hollywood celebrities to kick us when we’re down, Dennis Miller took up the colors and charged into the fray.
I urge you to recognize both Miller and USA Cares for this wonderful act. Our Marine’s house was set to go into foreclosure on 12 August. Thanks to two very good men that will not happen. God bless you both gentlemen and know that our veteran’s community owes you one for the solid you did one of our own. That debt is payable upon demand, just yell out.
Thanks, you guys.
Manchu.

A Letter to the Senator

This copy of a letter to Senator Kay Hagan was given to me by the author.
August 4, 2009
In regards to: The Healthcare Bill
Senator Kay Hagan
P.O. Box 29103
Greensboro, NC 27429-91
Dear Senator Kay Hagan,
I am writing to you in reference to your latest comment in the Greensboro newspaper stating that your constituents are in favor of the passage of this healthcare bill. You are wrong and I believe that you know it.
Ms. Hagan, with all due respect, I know the difference between Healthcare and Health Insurance. I know that the current government health insurance systems are the cause of this economic argument as it relates to health care. I am fully aware that our current Administration and Congressional members have prioritized improperly by giving away our "welfare" tax dollars to prop-up financial firms and industries before even touching the health care issue.
I am fairly certain that the goal of this bill is to work apart the generation gap that Congress was warned about as far back as 1994. If you're not sure as to what I am referencing: in 1994 a study was presented to Congress written by Sylvester J. Schieber, and John B. Shoven, "The consequences of Population Aging on Private Pension Fund Saving and Asset Markets". This paper stated: "... the gradual peaking of the social security trust fund in the United States will occur around the 2007-2009 time period."
Then in 2004, Harry Dent Jr. wrote a book called, "The Next Great Bubble Boom: How to Profit from the Greatest Boom in History". And excerpt in the book: ".as a result of baby boomers retiring, the US Stock-market will peak between 2007 and 2009. This prediction is based on the observation that consumer spending peaks near age 50."
Right now, according to the Population reference bureau there are approximately 79 million Baby Boomers living in the US. That's 79 million people heading to their silver years , Medicare as well as the Social Security Administration over the course of the next 5-8 years. We know the SSA is already broke and living from paycheck to paycheck because the baby boomers had less children than did their parents, and those children had less children as did their parents; there are less numbers of people paying into the already socialized systems, than there will be a need for it.
Estimates are that as the baby boomers start to retire there will be a severe shortage in competent workers to fill the voids.
Ms. Hagan, we know what is happening. We know where our Government's heads are no matter how many villains you try to create in order to get us to follow you. We also know that rationing care for those who are nothing more than a "burden" on an already defunct system is an attempt to promote a younger, healthier America, with the exception of those who are aborted due to the perceived notion that they also will be a drag on the system. I firmly believe the latest Legislation that opened the "morning after" pill to minors without prescription or parental permission was a part of this idea.
But we also know that our government wasn't instituted to pick and choose in this way. We see this as a horrible scenario that doesn't look anything like the country we love.
No, Ms. Hagan, we your constituents do NOT support this bill. We know our facts and are making them known to our families, friends and anyone who will lend us their ears. We know this has roots in population control. We know that this is left over hate of America from 60's and we know that "Imagine" by John Lennon is your generations "swan song".
The only way you can believe that you're fooling us is if you cover your eyes, plug your ears and refuse to hear us. Which is what Congress has done very well in the passed year with Cap-and-Trade, TARP, and the plea to vote to help us with oil prices one year ago last week. We haven't forgotten the Democrats refusal to allow a vote when oil prices were at $147 a barrel before August recess in '08. We're sure that the goal has been to crunch us under economic turmoil, do nothing about the jobless rate in hopes that we'd all come crying to government as our saviors.
It's not going to happen. We will sweat, we will toil, we will work in the belief that the American dream is still worth working for. We are the same people born of the soil that has built this great nation and we know that no one in our current government will see the halls of fame the likes of the forefathers who served before them. You will not help us unless we allow you the opportunity to control our lives.
Ms. Hagan, if you ultimately vote for this bill, you most certainly will lose your job in the next round of elections. Our bodies of Legislators do not have the Constitutional right to make these kinds of decisions. Oh yes, we know our Constitution as well.
But most importantly, we fear that this Healthcare Bill is a reuse to something larger because if you were taking it seriously, you wouldn't be in such a hurry. If you were sure of it, you'd all be touting how you'd be willing to be cared for by it. If you were genuinely concerned about the health and welfare of the American people you would be looking at more market friendly options such as tort reform, eliminating damaging/expensive government mandates, dropping the border restrictions on seeking coverage from companies' out-of-state, stopping and prosecuting fraudulent use of the Medicare, Medicaid, and SSA by illegal aliens and liars. Ms. Hagan, we're not as dumb, uninformed and hopeless as you and your co-horts appear to think we are. I'm sorry, but you'll lose in this battle. We've done our homework.
I'm asking.
Vote no?
Respectfully,
Holly Parker

Well, except this little tip for the Socialist Dhimmicrats :
If you think we're mad now, just wait till you betray us and actually pass this treasonous bill.
You aint seen nothing yet.

A Letter to the Governor (UPDATE)
By Bubba on Jul 30, 2009 | In Letters, Obama | Leave Comment »
I was BCC'd on this letter to Governor Perdue.
Dear Governor Perdue,
Yesterday my family and I utilized the services of North Carolina Vital Records located at:
Cooper Building
225 N. McDowell St.
Raleigh, NC 27603-1382The gentleman in the lobby was extremely helpful and courteous.
When we approached the Payment Windows we were appalled at the displays on the windows and behind the workers. We have no issue with displaying Our Presidents Photograph. We feel that all of our present and past Presidents Portraits should be displayed.
What we saw was blatant Partisan Politics. Statement such as “Yes We Did”, and another comparing President Obama with Dr. M.L. King. There were no less than four President Obama photos and sayings. The displays were “In Your Face Politics”. A North Carolina Government office is not the place to show bias in support for one Party or the other.
My son pointed at the “Yes we Did” display and was going to make a comment when the clerk rolled her eyes at him, making us all feel very uncomfortable.
We ask that you remove these displays immediately.
If these displays are not removed by Friday 31 July, 2009 we have all intentions of taking this issue to a National Audience.A Proud American
Robert D. Elliott
Rocky Mount, NC
Good for you Robert. Never let a fool go unchallenged. When you get ready to take it to the next level, I'll be doing my part to back you up.
Governor Perdue,
I had expected a timely response from your office or that of Secretary Cansler concerning my letter sent to both of you on 28 July, 2009. A copy of this letter is included.
Is there a reason for the delay in a response?
Do you agree with the Partisan Political Displays?
Have you asked them to be removed?
Are my concerns not important?
Is this behavior standard operating procedure for all North Carolina State Offices?
As a resident of North Carolina and obviously a constituent, a timely response is expected from our elected officials.
I understand the busy schedules that you keep; however my concerns can be verified by a quick visit from a member of your staff.
I do hope to hear from you today.
A Proud American
Robert D. Elliott
Rocky Mount, NC
Dear Mr. Elliott:
Your email to Governor Perdue and Secretary Cansler was forwarded to me for a response since the Office of Vital Records is part of the Division of Public Health. Our internal DHHS policy prohibits employee postings of materials which relate to national, state or local political parties or candidates. We will review this policy with staff to assure compliance and will have them remove any materials which violate this policy. We agree with you that postings of past and present political leaders is not inappropriate in the state government workplace.
Thank you for sharing this information with us.
That was too easy.
