A perfect storm is brewing for the IPCC
The chief defence offered by the warmists to all those revelations centred on the IPCC's last 2007 report is that they were only a few marginal mistakes scattered through a vast, 3,000-page document. OK, they say, it might have been wrong to predict that the Himalayan glaciers would melt by 2035; that global warming was about to destroy 40 per cent of the Amazon rainforest and cut African crop yields by 50 per cent; that sea levels were rising dangerously; that hurricanes, droughts and other "extreme weather events" were getting worse. These were a handful of isolated errors in a massive report; behind them the mighty edifice of global warming orthodoxy remains unscathed. The "science is settled", the "consensus" is intact.
But this completely misses the point. Put the errors together and it can be seen that one after another they tick off all the central, iconic issues of the entire global warming saga. Apart from those non-vanishing polar bears, no fears of climate change have been played on more insistently than these: the destruction of Himalayan glaciers and Amazonian rainforest; famine in Africa; fast-rising sea levels; the threat of hurricanes, droughts, floods and heatwaves all becoming more frequent.
...
it has also emerged in almost every case that the decision to include these scare stories rather than hard scientific evidence was deliberate. As several IPCC scientists have pointed out about the scare over Himalayan glaciers, for instance, those responsible for including it were well aware that proper science said something quite different. But it was inserted nevertheless – because that was the story wanted by those in charge.
Logical Positivism and the IPCC: 'The Best-Laid Schemes...'
There has never been a scientific scam in the history of mankind as big as the science swindle of "climate change." Nothing comes close. Modern scientific hustles like mesmerism, phrenology, eugenics, the Piltdown man, and even Lysenkoism, pale in comparison to the flimflam of anthropomorphic global warming (AGW).
...
Kurt Gödel singlehandedly crashed the house of cards of modern empiricist, positivist, and atheistic philosophy...sort of like whoever released those CRU e-mails has started to expose the scam that is the science behind man-made global warming.

Shine a light in on “Earth Hour”
Freedom lovers the world over have an opportunity to shine a cleansing light on one of the Global Warming Movement’s biggest hypocritical events: Earth Hour.
Earth Hour, which began back in 2007, calls for people to plunge the world into darkness and spread the lie of man made Global Warming.
This year Global warming activists, sponsored by the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) are once again calling for the dark for for a March 27 “Earth Hour”.
Desperate now that polls show people see man made global warming as a scam, Earth Hour promoters are telling people “lights off” “to demand action on climate change”.
You can take a strong stand against the liars in the Man Made Global Warming Movement by leaving your lights on from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m, on Saturday, March 27.
Shine your lights in on Earth Hour. Sunlight by day, lights by night, are the best disinfectants against to send Al Gore, David Suzuki-led global warming activists scurrying into the shadows.

A Vietnam Veteran Speaks Out
March 6, 2010
Adam Kokesh, candidate for the Republican nomination for the US House of Representatives from the Third District of New Mexico, is doing his best to deceive the electorate. He portrays himself as a libertarian conservative, but he is neither libertarian nor conservative (unless he reinvents himself again). Most egregiously, he is attempting to portray himself as a patriotic anti-war/anti-military veteran in a manner reminiscent of John Kerry and Vietnam Veterans against the War (VVAW), in which Kerry tarnished the valor of his brothers-in-arms in order to advance his political career.
As did VVAW, Kokesh's Iraq Veterans against the War (IVAW) holds that America is an imperialistic country, that the military is merely a tool of the government, and that our soldiers are little more than marauders and murderers who, in the words of John Kerry, behave ''in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan.''
I first met Adam when he and a motley group of Code Pink, MoveOn.org, IVAW (Iraq Veterans against the War), and other ''representatives'' of radical anti-American organizations formed up in front of the Army recruiting station in Washington, DC. Their clear intent was to create a disturbance, but the presence of a few dozen Gathering of Eagles members caused them to reconsider their plans.
I approached Adam and struck up a conversation, during the course of which I learned that he considered himself to be a libertarian. I replied that I considered myself a libertarian, as well, and that perhaps we could agree to disagree on the specific issue of the Iraq war. He seemed amenable to that, but his group reconvened in front of the recruiting station a few weeks later and trashed the place. It was then that I realized that the Adam Kokeshes of the world cannot be relied upon to compromise.
The next time I encountered Adam was last summer at an economic conference in St. Louis. That was when I first learned that he was running for Congress. He presided over a "promote Kokesh" seminar that I attended. He spouted off a basic libertarian message without including any of his own biography, which is, to say the least, nasty. Significantly, he claimed to have been honorably discharged as a sergeant from the US Marine Corps. Both claims are false, as will be demonstrated below.
Adam Kokesh is, in my view, a traitor to his country, and certainly to the United States Marine Corps, in which he "served" as a reservist for several months in a civil affairs unit in Iraq. Upon returning to the States, he enrolled in Claremont McKenna College in California.
While at Clarement McKenna, a pistol was stolen from his car, and Adam dutifully reported the theft to the campus police, who asked him where the pistol came from. Adam said that it was a war souvenir from Iraq, and it was not long before the USMC brought charges against him for smuggling an illegal weapon into the US. His then-pending discharge as a sergeant was changed to that of a corporal.
Adam just didn't know when to let well-enough alone, because in 2007 he was involved in a street demonstration in DC in which several anti-war protesters were arrested. It seems that he was involved in a bit of street theater in which he led a "combat patrol," in uniform, to protest the Iraq War. This event was sufficient newsworthy as to cause the Marine Corps to investigate Adam's involvement in what was obviously an unpatriotic act.
It seems that when the Marine major assigned the investigation contacted Adam by e-mail, Adam replied with a "f__k yourself," and the Corps thereupon initiated proceedings that resulted in his having his theretofore-honorable discharge downgraded to a general discharge.
Adam then continued to drive nails into his political coffin, as evinced by his visit to the US Army Garrison in Ansbach, Germany. His actions there were, by any measure, seditious, if not downright treasonous. In his own words, Kokesh imparted the following message to our troops:
"We are here to reach out to active duty members of the United States military stationed in Germany and let them know what they can do to help stop the US occupation of Iraq. Soldiers need to know that when they decide to resist, they will have the support and thanks of the global moral majority. We are also here to support the German peace movement. As in the United States, protestors are often dismissed as ignorant and childish, but with the voices of veterans backing them up, they have the credibility they deserve. It is clear that real change will not come from your government or ours, but rather from the righteous voice of compassion."
"The people of Ansbach have chosen to stand up not only to the imperialism of the United States, but also their own country's history of complicity. The US military has long chosen its own tactical advantage over the consideration of the people in the communities that it affects and claims to protect. It is sad that it has taken so long for Germans to make this stand, but we support them in their opposition."
"Germany has long been complicit in America's aggression. There is no longer any valid premise for the vast American presence in this country. It is not for your security or benefit, but supposedly for the benefit of America, and it is not in the world's best interest. The lesson of World War II should not be to remain silent during the next war of aggression." [Adam Kokesh; May 13, 2007; US Army Garrison, Ansbach, Germany]
A complete account may be viewed here:
http://www.ivaw.org/membersspeak/important-message-people-germany.
His personal report is at http://www.ivaw.org/node/787.
Adam Kokesh probably wishes that he had not been so open about his disloyalty, because he is now pretending to be a patriotic, libertarian-leaning, conservative Republican in his congressional campaign. Sorry, Adam; that just won't wash. You have shown your true colors, and America-loving patriots just won't let you get away with your masquerade.
Go ahead and renew your ties with the Code Pink/Winter Soldier/George Soros/IVAW crowd. Take off that suit and tie, and let your hair grow long in a John Kerry-lookalike manner. Be what you want to be, as long as it's not pretending to be an American patriot.

MMCC : ManMadeClimateChange is BS
As many commentators and “global warming skeptics” have observed, climate science has metamorphosed into a religion—or, more accurately, a cult in religious dress. It has its high priests (Al Gore, David Suzuki, James Hansen, Rajendra Pachauri), its sacred texts such as computer models whose inconsistencies and disparities are blithely ignored by the myriads of true believers, its prevailing orthodoxies that cannot safely be questioned or violated, and its Second Ecumenical Council of the Global Warming Vatican (after Kyoto), known as the Copenhagen Climate Conference.
Although the metaphors and, let’s say, cosmetic properties that cluster around the global warming delirium owe their provenance to Judeo-Christian devotional literature and puritanical conviction, the substance of the movement is essentially a form of pagan idolatry. This appears to be the only way a secular culture which denies its heritage, yet cannot evade it, is able to justify and affirm its need for redemptive consummation, signifying a hunger for spiritual nourishment that goes otherwise unsatisfied. The urge to belong to something that is numinous, to form a community of believers, to parrot a confession and join a hieratic collective is almost impossible to resist. Like James Lovelock and a kindred host of officious doomsayers, we find ourselves subject to a pervasive fever inspired by an apocryphal religious groundswell. And so we are now Gaia’s obedient, exalted and fearful children.
Welcome to the new paganism.

The greatest scandal connected to global warming is not exaggeration, fraud or destruction of data to conceal the weakness of the argument. It is those who are personally profiting from promoting this fantasy at the expense of the rest of us.
The comment is absolutely wrong because by far the greatest scandal is the continued political exploitation, fraud and destruction of the economy.
Exploitation of global warming underscores a fundamental difference between left wing ideology from communism through socialism, and free market capitalism.

Adam Kokesh wants to be a US congressman next year. So today he is practicing being a conservative Republican. I say practicing because it was only a year ago or so that he wanted to be a communist.
Poor feller can't make up his mind. I reckon he's still in search of himself?
Saying Kokesh wanted to be a communist is a rather strong accusation, isn't it? It's warranted. I've told you in several recent posts about his involvement with the anti-war movement, that he marched with and led demonstrations by thousands of leftists, anarchists, communists and old worn out 60's hippies. I've told you that I have witnessed with my own hazel eyes the betrayal of Kokesh.
Do you think I'm just making this up?
Are you familiar with ANSWERCoalition?
Click over to DiscoverTheNetworks and read about that fine group of traitors known as ANSWER.
Here's a few excerpts:
Anti-war front group for the Marxist-Leninist Workers World Party
...
ANSWER views the United States as a racist, imperialist, sexist, homophobic nation and the world's chief violator of human rights -- guilty of unspeakable atrocities, past and present, foreign and domestic.
...
ANSWER supports an immigration policy that calls for open borders as well as amnesty and full civil rights for illegal aliens residing in the United States.
...
ANSWER opposes the U.S. military's detention center at the Guantanamo Bay naval base in Cuba.
Make notes of all the Marxist, socialist and communist organizations that share board members with ANSWER.
Then make note of this:

That's Adam Kokesh making protest signs in the ANSWER workshop in preparation for the antiwar protest I told you about here.
And don't forget that I also told you that Kokesh enjoys the endorsement of Ron Paul and has in turn endorsed N.C. Congressional candidate B.J. Lawson.
I wouldn't let a commie set foot in my yard, much less march with them, much less endorse one for congress, much less accept endorsement from one.

Passenger ships stuck in ice off Sweden
Thirty to 40 ships -- including several passenger ships -- were stuck Thursday in ice off the coast of Sweden
...
It has been a lot colder than normal in the southern parts of the Baltic sea ... the ice breakers that normally operate haven't been able to cope with the ice
Can you imagine how bad it would be if weren't for Global Warming?
Despite protests from expert reviewers, 42% of the documents cited in one chapter of the climate bible are grey literature rather than peer-reviewed.
...
the IPCC's chairman, Rajendra Pachauri, has repeatedly claimed that the IPCC relies solely on peer-reviewed material to make its case. By now we know this isn't remotely true
...
of the seven studies mentioned ... only one was published in a peer-reviewed journal
...
a total of six "studies are cited to support the notion that emission reduction creates jobs. Only one of the six is peer-reviewed."
...
In a number of instances, authors mainly quote their own work. This is unworthy. In a number of instances, authors mainly quote other IPCC material. This is incestuous. The quoting of IPCC material is most pronounced in the scenario discussion, which can be summarised as "We, the IPCC, declare that all previous IPCC work is great." This is silly.
Somehow the tables have turned. For all the smears of big money funding the "deniers", the numbers reveal that the sceptics are actually the true grassroots campaigners, while Greenpeace defends Wall St. How times have changed.
Sceptics are fighting a billion dollar industry aligned with a trillion dollar trading scheme. Big Oil's supposed evil influence has been vastly outdone by Big Government, and even those taxpayer billions are trumped by Big-Banking.
Ultimately the big problem is that there are no grants for scientists to demonstrate that carbon has little effect. There are no Institutes of Natural Climate Change, but plenty that are devoted to UnNatural Forces.
the main point is not that the scientists are necessarily corrupted by money or status (though that appears to have happened to a few), but that there is no group or government seriously funding scientists to expose flaws. The lack of systematic auditing of the IPCC, NOAA, NASA or East Anglia CRU, leaves a gaping vacuum
New natural Climate change discovery in the Arctic
As AGW advocates employ various Rope-a-Dope survival strategies after the knockout barrage of Climategate, scientists have unearthed the existence of possibly another major contributor in the blame game of climate change which could trump all the previous bogeymen. The real cuplrit? Natural causes.

» Adam Kokesh ‘runs’ for Congress; is an antiwar activist seeking to return Ben Lujan to the House?
Is Kokesh a grass roots fiscal conservative or an antiwar activist masquerading as a conservative-libertarian to deceive the people of New Mexico? Before voters there decide, perhaps they should review his multiple arrests — including for smuggling home a firearm — in addition to his anti-war protests while in uniform, anti-military recruitment actions, and travel to an allied nation to encourage U.S. soldiers stationed there to go AWOL.
I was at the Capital on September 15, 2007 when ANSWER, Code Poink, SDS, several thousand avowed communists and Adam Kokesh pitched their anti-war hissy fit. I was there as a member of the Gathering of Eagles, assigned to stand with and protect a group of Gold Star moms who were protesting the use of their fallen sons’ images and names by Adam’s comrades.
You would assume that Gold Star moms would need no protection, that they could expect nothing but respect from any American, right? Wrong. I watched and listened to those vile creatures as they marched past, shouting and cursing at these ladies. They spat, and jeered. They yelled “your son got what he deserved”.
We were several hundred American patriots, surrounded by thousands of anti-American leftists. I argued with punks that were mad that I called them commies, they told me I had no right to call them that – even though they carried Soviet flags.
Adam Kokesh was not just one of them, he was one of their leaders. He marched with anarchists, communists and troop-haters.
Now he’s a conservative Republican tea-partier? Oh hell no, I am not stupid. Said Fletcher to the Union Senator, “There’s another old saying Senator … don’t piss down my back and tell me it’s raining.”
Kokesh is a narcissistic, opportunistic parasite. He will take sides with whoever, whatever makes him feel good at the moment. That he has the backing of the Ron Paul cult is fitting, peas in pods.

The Arctic is Warming or Where are the Temperature Stations to Prove It?
The idiot Al Gore claimed, today, in the NYTs, that global warming is real science, and among other things, the Arctic is melting
...
If the inputs are flawed, then what of the results? The science isn’t settled, because the science hasn’t even been properly done.
U.S. Climate Data Compromised by Sensors' Proximity to Heat Sources
A critical cog in the machinery that drives the theory of global warming is a small white box not too far from where you live. Inside the box sits a thermometer that tracks the local temperature, which in turn becomes part of a data trail for the monitoring of climate change on Earth.
But there's a problem: Nearly every single weather station the U.S. government uses to measure the country's surface temperature may be compromised. Sensors that are supposed to be in empty clearings are instead exposed to crackling electronics and other unlikely sources of heat, from exhaust pipes and trash-burning barrels to chimneys and human graves.
"So far we've surveyed 1,062 of them," said Anthony Watts, a meteorologist who began the tracking effort in 2007. "We found that 90 percent of them don't meet [the government's] old, simple rule called the '100-foot rule' for keeping thermometers 100 feet or more from biasing influence. Ninety percent of them failed that, and we've got documentation."
At the current moment, there is no evidence whatsoever the earth has even warmed at all, because all of these guys conveniently destroy their data after compiling their alleged studies. What we have in hand is only their conclusions, with absolutely no vettable evidence backing it up whatsoever. The British Met (responsible for this sort of thing) must now reconstruct temperature records from the last 150 years independently, and from scratch, in order to even start the discussion with some sort of scientific basis.
Note to Al Gore: "I said so, that's why" is not a proper scientific basis for making a claim, even a small one.
So, at the moment, there is no evidence whatsoever that the planet has even warmed, and this evidence will not exist for at least two or three years as the Met undertakes its re-examination of the issue (this time, with documentation and data retained and reviewable by other scientists -- fancy that!).
With global warming on the ropes, it finally becomes convenient for Al Gore to deliver a spirited defensiveness. Been wondering where he was. Here’s his NYT op-ed, “We Can’t Wish Away Climate Change.” Good use of irony, given the extent to which Gore and all those settled scientists have been focused on wishing warmalism here. But he’s right. You can’t wish climate change away. It’s been changing constantly for 4.5 billion years now.
On Adam Kokesh: Open Letter from Gathering of Eagles

An Open Letter to the Republican Party
Regarding Adam Kokesh
We are writing to you, to express our grave concerns about Adam Kokesh, who is aspiring to become the Republican nominee for US Congress from New Mexico’s 3rd district. Mr. Kokesh has an extensive and well-documented history of affiliations with radical leftist groups. In concert with these groups he has engaged in numerous anti-America and anti-military demonstrations and protests. Moreover, Mr. Kokesh does not appear to have any personal qualifications that would recommend him for serious consideration as a candidate for the Republican Party. He has a significant history suggestive of poor character and judgment, and he has notable incidents of direct activism against Republican office holders.
Affiliations with radical leftist groups
Mr. Kokesh joined the Iraq Veterans Against War (IVAW) in February 2007, at which time he was 25 years old. The IVAW was formed by the Vietnam Veterans Against War (VVAW), the now infamous group, formed by John Kerry in 1970, and responsible for the fraudulent maligning of our Vietnam veterans at the Winter Soldier Conference in 1971. It will be recalled that John Kerry now stands exposed as having repeated false accusations from that conference, during Congressional testimony in 1971. Similar to the VVAW, the IVAW is a virulently anti-military, anti-America group. It holds the view that our country is an imperialistic and expansionistic “One World Order” government, and that our military is but a tool of this government. Further, they believe that our soldiers are little more than marauders and murderers who, in the words of John Kerry, behave “in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan”.
Mr. Kokesh was active in the IVAW from 2007 to 2009, at which time he announced his candidacy for Republican Congressman from New Mexico. There are no indications that he has revoked his affiliations with the IVAW. As an active member of the IVAW, Mr. Kokesh was involved in numerous anti-military, and by explicit extension, anti-Bush/Republican activities and actions. While executing these actions, Mr. Kokesh knowingly and gladly, made common cause with a wide array of other well-known, radical anti-America and communist groups. The list of these other groups includes, but is by no means limited to, the following:
SDS
Code Pink
A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition
United for Justice and Peace
Communist Party of America
Muslim Brotherhood
Black Panthers
In cooperation with the above-named groups and the IVAW, Mr. Kokesh: participated in multiple anti-war demonstrations in Washington DC, and other cities throughout the country; organized and incited violent demonstrations at military recruiting stations; participated in an initiative to encourage active duty soldiers to desert their military post; organized and participated in a Winter Soldier Conference 2, an effort designed to malign and undercut the moral of our soldiers who were fighting and dying on the battlefield. Even a most cursory search of the Internet will yield a plethora of documents attesting to the veracity of these assertions.
Character Issues
Mr. Kokesh’s personal accomplishments and achievements appear to be limited to his having served in the Marine Corps from 1999 until 2006, and his work as a political activist with the IVAW, from 2007 until 2009. His MC service was basically unremarkable, in terms of citations, medals, and commendations, and it was ultimately marked by a demotion in his discharge rank from Sergeant to Corporal, and a downgrading of his discharge status from honorable to general. Mr. Kokesh’s tenure with the IVAW has been noted above and need not be repeated here.
There are no indications that Mr. Kokesh has ever maintained any private sector employment, and unless otherwise proven, it might be assumed that his ‘work’ with the IVAW was financed through contributions to that organization, finances that often originated in leftist organizations such as MoveOn.org.
Other than an undergraduate degree in Psychology, there are no indications that Mr. Kokesh has achieved any academic standing that might, given his young age and his otherwise lack of general accomplishments, recommend him for serious consideration for Congress.
There are numbers of incidents in Mr. Kokesh’s personal life that suggest that he employs poor judgment. Examples of this include the following: he smuggled a gun home from Iraq, and then was apprehended when he bought it onto a college campus; he has incited protestors to engage in violent actions against military recruiting stations; and, he incited unrest on a college campus by hanging racist poster around the campus, and signing the posters as being from a member of the college’s conservative Republican organization.
Finally, there is no documented evidence that Mr. Kokesh has been supportive of the Republican Party prior to his campaign announcement in 2009. Yet, there are notable prior incidents in which he has joined with radical leftists in protesting Republican office holders. These include: a high-profile media mocking of Alberto Gonzales’s testimony to Congress regarding the dismissal of the U.S. attorney’s; interrupting John McCain’s acceptance speech at the 2008 Republican National convention; and; participating in a radical left anti-war march on the Bush home in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Given the above, it is our position that Mr. Kokesh is in no way qualified to represent the Republican Party in Congress. In fact, if his history is any indicator of his future performance, it is most likely that he will behave in a manner that is antithetical to the positions and values of the Republican Party. In our view, a Kokesh candidacy will at best, precipitate much conflict within the Republican Party, and, at worst, invite derision from outside of the party.
Like you, we are interested in maintaining the integrity of the Republican Party. We understand that this is a time when the party leadership is striving to reconcile disparate ideas within the party, and to clarify its unified voice. A Kokesh candidacy would be completely at odds with those strivings and ideals.
We are urging the Republican Party to withhold any endorsement of a ‘Kokesh for Congress’ candidacy. We look forward to hearing from you.

Among other operations around the world, these young people, and those in their chain of command, have made enormous progress toward establishing a functional democracy in the heart of the Middle East, Iraq.
