Here, go read this, cause I have a rant bubble that's about to pop:
» Matthis and collateral ignorance
So, if you were a teacher and you invite a guest lecturer to speak to your students, wouldn’t you want them to be subject matter experts? Why would a teacher have IVAW Matthis explain the “Collateral Murder” video to his/her students then?
That’s what’s happening across the country today. Three people are touring the country and speaking at high schools in a program called “We Are Not Your Soldiers” - Matthis Chiroux, Robin Long and Emma Kaplan. Matthis and Robin Long refused to deploy to Iraq, Emma is a tool of Maoist World Can’t Wait. None of them has ever been to the wars, yet some teachers feel that they have the expertise to talk about the war to their students.
One young woman started crying, saying her dad was in the military and she wanted to join but now she didn’t want to. Matthis had asked a question and this young woman raised her hand and said, “My dad was probably in a helicopter like that killing children.
Students were asked what they thought caused the war, a number of them replied: Imperialism.
Here's my Rambling Rant:
Imperialism. Not decades of deadly attacks on America by islamic terrorists, culminated in 9/11 ... but Imperialism. America's imperialism. That's the lesson being taught your children - that bad things happen to America and it's our own fault for illegal invasions and occupations and arrogance and being rich and not spreading our wealth and supporting our friends and treating communist tyrants with disrespect and our constant endeavors to improve life.
So, who is this Matthis Chiroux and IVAW? For the third time, I offer this video:
Chiroux is a bitter, flag-burning communist tool, busily kicking at the foundations of our Republic. Like thousands of his fellow leftists, there's piss in his veins instead of blood.
But I'm just a character assassin. I attack good solid people for vindictive purposes. Like Adam Kokesh. He's a fine, upstanding, ex-Marine, Iraq veteran, conservative candidate for congress. I'm a meany for bringing up the fact that Kokesh is a ring leader of the IVAW flag-burners and has spent the last several years hanging out with CodePink, ANSWER and every other communist-funded organization.
I'm a pawn of the globalists (I'm told) because I don't like another famous politician that endorses the exact same anti-American sentiments expressed by Chiroux and Kokesh. Ok, to be fair, Ron Paul hasn't ever had the nads to proclaim his disdain of our military (or be specific on his anti-semitic policies or deny/affirm 9/11 trutherism, chem-trails, stealing oil from Afghanistan* and Iraq, plus a plethora of insane conspiracy theories). He just allows his minions to do it without calling them on it, which in my mind is endorsement.
I'm also guilty of plain ole sour grapes because I still insist that some 'liberty' candidates separate themselves and their campaigns from the likes of Chiroux, Kokesh, Paul and the nuttiest conspiracy theorist of them all - Alex Jones.
That's not asking too much, is it? I mean, I mean, if you've got a section on LibertyCandidates.org amongst fellow 'liberty' candidates like Steve Susman (click that link, you gotta see it to believe it**), and imagery like this:

then is it a conclusionary jump to assume that you sip the same koolaid? Especially when your profile states stuff like
Terror is a tactic, and not something against which we can declare "war". As such, it is an oxymoron.
The "war on terror" is not a constitutionally declared war***, and as such is illegal. It is simply a branding exercise to get the American people to accept further government intrusions into our lives and business.
I've heard those sentiments before. They came out of the mouths of leftists and the communist dupes of ANSWER, MoveOn.org and CodePink. Think to come of it, that could have been a quote from Sean Penn or Danny Glover, both trophy-holders of the Hugo Chavez Butt-Kissing Contests.
What am I to assume when a Republican candidate for congress' campaign staffer has these stickers on their car?

Ya see, B.J., I have a serious problem with sending a Republican to congress that walks and talks like all the leftist communists that I've spent the last several years battling.
Prove me wrong. Publicly denounce and proclaim. If you do, you'll get my support (for what it's worth), but you'll also lose a substantial portion of your lunatic base. But prove me wrong, I'd like that very much.
* by the way, Afghanistan doesn't have any oil.
** in case Susman removes his nutty post about chem-trails, I have screen caps and transcripts saved.
*** The Constitution, Article I, Section VIII states, in part:
"The Congress shall have Power to ....
... To declare War, ..."
Is that the basis of the statement that all wars are illegal if not declared? If it is, then that statement is wrong; 'shall have power to declare war' does not translate to 'and shall do so if and when we ever have to kick some butt'. That section also states that congress shall have the power to borrow money on the credit of the United States. Does that mean congress is required to borrow money, whether or not we need it?

The Negative Effects of the Anti-Military Left on Our Veterans and Their Families
A response to a Blog Radio interview with Adam Kokesh
We often hear from the leftist anti-military groups that their demonstrations and activities are intended to help and support our troops. However, our veterans and their families often report that these activities have a very negative effect on them. An example of these negative effects was apparent on the April 22, 2010 Chandler’s Watch Radio Blog show in which Adam Kokesh was interviewed (http://vietnam-veterans.us/videos/ChandlersWatchKokesh232.mp3).
Mr. Kokesh is a member of the Iraq Veterans Against War (IVAW), and he has an extensive history of engaging in anti-military activities in alliance with groups such as Code Pink and MoveOn.org. Currently, he is running for US Congress – New Mexico 3rd CD as a self-declared Conservative Republican. He was recruited and endorsed by the Ron Paul Liberty Candidate group.

Signs say "support the iraqi resistance" and "support U.S. deserters and mutineers"
Note:
While many, probably most members of the Liberty Candidates do not even know about Kokesh and/or his history, much less endorse him - there are some who do.
Perhaps it's a good time to find out if your candidate supports and endorses Kokesh, the wolf in sheep-dog clothing.
Mr. Kokesh was invited as a guest to discuss his anti-military activities and the impact of those activities on his current campaign for US Congress. A Marine who is opposed to the Kokesh candidacy hosts Chandler’s Watch, and Mr. Kokesh understood that he would be facing some tough questioning from both the host and the callers.
Initially, Mr. Kokesh attempted to defend his anti-war activities by minimizing the contact that he had had with other radical groups and by saying that, at that time, he believed that his actions were in the best interest of the troops, given the “illegal” nature of the war. Further, he went on to note that he has an undergraduate degree in Psychology and that his support of our troops is evidenced by his involvement with attempting to assist veterans with PTSD in obtaining services once they had returned from Iraq.

During the course of the show both a Gold Star and a Blue Star Mother phoned in. What was most striking about their phone calls was the degree of anguish, anger, frustration, and at times rage that was evident in their voices and in their comments. They attempted to let Mr. Kokesh know just how painful his actions had been to them and to their families, and how the attempt by the radical left to impugn the honor and the integrity of their sons had affected them. I know the Blue Star Mother personally; she is a tireless supporter of our troops, even though her son has long since finished his active duty. She is self-controlled and thoughtful, and it was surprising to me to hear the depth of her anger, anguish, and yes, rage. Similarly, the Gold Star mother’s voice was filled with the anguish and pain of having lost her child, and the rage she feels towards the anti-military leftist’s for their attempts to dishonor him. While I am not a Star Mother, I AM a mother, and what I was hearing from these women could well be described as “motherly rage”.
Mr. Kokesh also heard from a Vietnam and a Desert Storm veteran, both of whom had felt the wrath of the “radical left” upon their return from active duty. Both of these men were well modulated in their comments, but the scars of a country’s betrayal were apparent in their voices.
By the end of the interview Mr. Kokesh, to his credit, did apologize for his IVAW actions, and for the pain and suffering that those actions had caused. Further, in his own defense, he reflected that perhaps his anti-military activities were in part a result of his immaturity and that he felt he had grown since then. He also noted that he himself had suffered from PTSD following his return from Iraq. He again highlighted his interest in PTSD issues in returning veterans as evidence of his commitment to the well-being of our soldiers.
By way of commentary, I would like to offer the following reflections to Mr. Kokesh as regards PTSD in our returning soldiers and as regards the importance of a mature character when running for national office.
Firstly, most returning soldiers experience an Adjustment Reaction Disorder as they make the transition from military to civilian life. This can be an uncomfortable and anxiety provoking process, but it is actually expected and normal. In contrast, PTSD is a prolonged and disabling disorder that is differentiated from adjustment reactions in both its duration and severity. One of the most important factors in guarding against an adjustment disorder developing into chronic PTSD is the quality of the environment in which the person is living. There is the need for a supportive, understanding, accepting environment. This is hardly the case when Code Pink stages “solidarity” marches through the streets of Palestine and the IVAW burns an American flag at a “peace rally” in Washington DC. Clearly a rejecting, judgmental and oftentimes aggressively accusatory anti-military movement will do precious little to mitigate against the onset of a full-blown PTSD.
Some of Kokesh's old buddies in IVAW demonstrating love of country: March 20, 2010
Secondly, I would like to comment on Mr. Kokesh’s statement that his IVAW activities were a result of general immaturity on his part. I would agree with that assessment. However, I would also note that little time has elapsed since Mr. Kokesh was a very ardent and active member in the IVAW, and there is nothing, other than his word, to suggest that he has matured away from his radical leftist anti-military beliefs. This issue of “immaturity” is especially troublesome, since Mr. Kokesh is aspiring to become a member of the US Congress, a position that by its nature requires a mature and thoughtful approach to very complex and stressful issues.
In closing, I would hope that Mr. Kokesh’s experience on Chandler’s Watch helped him to understand the pain and the anguish that groups such as the IVAW have inflicted on our veterans and their families. I would venture a guess that the views of the callers to the show are not unique within the veteran community. While I do not have any specific polling data, I would bet that most veterans are vehemently opposed to the IVAW and their radical anti-military membership.
I would suggest to Mr. Kokesh that, if he is truly interested in the issues surrounding PTSD in our soldiers, he continue his education in Psychology and devote more of his time to understanding both the disorder and the negative effects of a radical leftist movement on this condition.
Perhaps within the course of more extended personal self-reflection, and pursuits of higher education, and practical real-life experience Mr. Kokesh might gain the requisite knowledge, empathy, and maturity that are necessary in order to be an effective and honest Congressman.

An Open Letter to the “Liberty Candidates”
By Bubba on Apr 16, 2010 | In Letters, Tea Party, Pauly-Jonesy, Kokesh | 1 feedback »
Regarding: Adam Kokesh
(a complete list of recipients can be found at the bottom of this letter)
We are writing to you to express our grave concerns about one of your fellow Liberty candidates, Adam Kokesh. More importantly, in view of these concerns and to the point of this letter, we are asking that you disavow Mr. Kokesh and distance yourself from him politically.
Mr. Kokesh has an extensive and well-documented history of affiliations with radical leftist groups. In concert with these groups, he has engaged in numerous anti-America and anti-military demonstrations and protests. Further, Mr. Kokesh does not appear to have any personal qualifications that would recommend him for serious consideration as a candidate for Congress, and he has a significant history suggestive of poor character and judgment.
Of primary concern to us is that Mr. Kokesh’s anti-military actions were designed to undermine our military during a time of war, and, more egregiously, were designed to undermine and impugn the honor of our soldiers who were fighting and dying on the battlefield. Most people would see these actions as having been dishonorable; many of us see them as being traitorous.
For those of you that are not familiar with Mr. Kokesh’s extensive history of affiliations with radical lefist groups, we have appended this letter with a brief review of those affiliations (see below, Appendix I). Additionally, there are a numbers of internet resources that you can utilize for your own research on Mr. Kokesh. We have also appended this letter with links to some websites that contain relevant information (see below, Appendix II).
Most of us are well aware of the devastating effect that the anti-military actions of the left during the Vietnam War had on both our country at large and on our veterans in particular. Many of us lived through that. We are well aware of the suffering of those veterans as they returned to a country that had been incited to impugn their honor and condemn them.
Be assured that there are countless numbers of patriotic Americans who vowed that never again would our soldiers be subjected to the traitorous assault of the radical leftist groups within our own country. We, the undersigned, are among those numbers. It is for this reason that we stand in solid opposition to Mr. Kokesh. We stand in total solidarity with our soldiers and veterans. We ask you to take the same principled stand. We ask that you disavow Mr. Kokesh and, by extension disavow the entire radical anti-America forces that are within our country, and that are seeking to destroy us from within. We ask that you stand in solidarity with our troops.
It is with great interest that we look forward to a response from you.

_____________________________________________________________
APPENDIX I - Review of Mr. Kokesh’s history
Affiliations with radical leftist groups
Mr. Kokesh joined the Iraq Veterans Against War (IVAW) in February 2007, at which time he was 25 years old. The IVAW was formed by the Vietnam Veterans Against War (VVAW), the now infamous group formed by John Kerry in 1970, and responsible for the fraudulent maligning of our Vietnam veterans at the Winter Soldier Conference in 1971. It will be recalled that John Kerry now stands exposed as having repeated false accusations from that conference, during his Congressional testimony in 1971. Similar to the VVAW, the IVAW is a virulently anti-military, anti-America group. It holds the view that our country is an imperialistic and expansionistic “One World Order” government, and that our military is but a tool of this government. Further, they believe that our soldiers are little more than marauders and murderers who, in the words of John Kerry, behave “in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan”.
Mr. Kokesh was active in the IVAW from 2007 to 2009, at which time he announced his candidacy for Republican Congressman from New Mexico. There are no indications that he has revoked his affiliations with the IVAW. As an active member of the IVAW, Mr. Kokesh was involved in numerous anti-militaryactivities and actions. While executing these actions, Mr. Kokesh knowingly made common cause with a wide array of other well-known, radical anti-America and communist groups. The list of these other groups includes, but is by no means limited to, the following:
SDS
Code Pink
A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition
United for Justice and Peace
Communist Party of America
Muslim Brotherhood
Black Panthers
In cooperation with the above-named groups and the IVAW, Mr. Kokesh: participated in multiple anti-war demonstrations in Washington DC, and other cities throughout the country; organized and incited violent demonstrations at military recruiting stations; participated in an initiative to encourage active duty soldiers to desert their military post; and, organized and participated in a Winter Soldier Conference 2, an effort designed to malign and undercut the morale of our soldiers who were fighting and dying on the battlefield. Even a most cursory search of the Internet will yield a plethora of documents attesting to the veracity of these assertions.
Character Issues
Mr. Kokesh’s personal accomplishments and achievements appear to be limited to his having served in the Marine Corps from 1999 until 2006, and his subsequent work as a political activist with the IVAW from 2007 until 2009. His MC service was basically unremarkable, in terms of citations, medals, and commendations, and it was ultimately marked by a demotion in his discharge rank from Sergeant to Corporal, and a downgrading of his discharge status from honorable to general. Mr. Kokesh’s tenure with the IVAW has been noted above and need not be repeated here.
There are no indications that Mr. Kokesh has ever maintained any private sector employment. Unless otherwise proven, it might be assumed that his ‘work’ with the IVAW was financed through contributions to that organization, finances that often originated in radical leftist organizations such as MoveOn.org.
There are no indications that Mr. Kokesh has achieved any notable academic standing. This fact, coupled with his young age and his otherwise lack of personal accomplishments, leave little that would recommend him for serious consideration for Congress.
There are numbers of incidents in Mr. Kokesh’s personal life that suggest that he employs poor judgment. Examples of this include the following: he smuggled a gun home from Iraq, and then was apprehended when he bought it onto a college campus; he has incited protestors to engage in violent actions against military recruiting stations; and, he incited unrest on a college campus by hanging racist poster around the campus, having signed the posters as being from members of the college’s conservative Republican
organization.

Paulian Isolationists, Truthers and RightWing Moonbats

» The Anti-Conservative’s CPAC
The message there was that “real conservatives” don’t support the war on terror because it is a creation of the “Israeli lobby”
...
Imagine having to battle with the head of the American Conservative Union to have the future Prime Minister of the Netherlands, who is being persecuted for speaking the truth, address an audience at CPAC. And yet, look at the circus of clowns at this year's freak show gay bashers, Birchers and Paulian hordes.
Perhaps the best, or at least most informative part of this article is the comments. It appears that Pam Geller's readers have a pretty good handle on the so-called 'Liberty' movement; not so much liberty as alot of old-fashioned anti-semitism, isolationism and a bad case of tunnel vision that prevents them from seeing or recognizing the dangers that radical Islamists pose to the free world.
A sampling of the comments:
Very few voices articulate a basic understanding of what is going on. What is going on is war. In order to fight a war, one needs to develop an understanding of one's own doctrine and the doctrine of the enemy.
Humanistic fascists (i.e., "Liberals") misunderstand both. HF do not speak of the "city on a hill" because they've thrown America into the diversity dumpster. By their diversity and multicultural doctrine, hfs give the enemy an equal moral footing as us.
Libertarianism understands neither. Libertarians are humanistic fascists who go easy on the fascism.
Conservatives are uneasy about throwing America into the diversity dumpster. But, with few exceptions (Atlas Shrugs types), they don't know much about the enemy.
All this to say that an exquisitely few number of people know what an American is AND what Islam is really about.
Freedom is not the center of a straight line between the totalitarians on the left and the totalitarians on the right. If freedom is slightly right of center, does that mean the center is slightly socialist? I don’t think so.
The truth is the Paulians are the real Rightwing and they are nuts. These people are more dangerous than Marxist “True Believers.” Anyone who still doesn’t understand why Marxists support anti-Semitism and jihad against the modern world has not been paying attention. And the hard Right (anti-Semitic to the core) has no problem getting into bed with the hard Left, and now obviously the jihadis.
Yup, that's why I've always referred to the RonPaulians and AlexJonesians as the right-wing moonbats.
Norquist and the Paulists are SERVING THE SAME JIHADIST MASTER(s) that the FAR LEFT SERVES.
The Paulists want to take the Republican Party BACK to THE 1930's,when along with SOUTHERN DEMOCRATS they tried to STOP this nation from STANDING UP to Hitler..To take National Power, EXTREMISTS NEED CONTROL of one of the TWO MAJOR PARTIES.
The EXTREME FAR LEFT SEIZED CONTROL of the Democratic Party and hence, here we are in this NIGHTMARE.
The Paulists WANT to SEIZE the GOP the SAME Way,and MUST BE STOPPED.
The FAR LEFT and FAR RIGHT bend and meet at many of the SAME PLACES,especially JEW-HATRED.
Divide & Conquer has ALWAYS been a Strategy.
FAR-LEFT INVOLVEMENT in the PAUL "movement" ,including but not limited to FUNDING,is a real probability.
It would certainly be reflected in Ron Paul's Fund-Raising, which in 2008 was in complete DISPROPORTION to his Electoral NON-Success,BUT,did keep his NASTY Presence going as a "NIPPING -at the Heels " Sideshow during the Pre-Convention period.
The more "alienated " the Paulists are from the REAL Republican Party, the better for the Democrats and The LEFT who would have every reason to keep him going.
Ron Paul is dangeous for both America and Israel. I worked and lived in the middle east for awhile (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait). Going into Iraq was the right thing to do but W. stated the wrong reasons for doing it. Someone earlier questioned going into Afghanistan. How do you combat that much ignorance?
... probably a fair portion of the Tea Parti-ers are also isolationists, though I haven't seen any numbers. The people who are Constitutional purists often end up there - the US not as the 'City on the Hill' - in Reagan's term, but the US as the Walled City. What is the distance between Ron Paul and David Duke? Paul makes weak defenses of his racially-oriented newsletters in the past. The fact that so many American conservatives gravitate to his positions says that many of them have no interest in 'Judeo-Christian' principles at all, but are more about 'a man's home is his castle.'
And none of it even touched on the huge percentage of Paulians that are also 9/11 Truthers - being able to blame 9/11 on America and Israel while purposefully ignoring and denying any involvement of muslims. This ability to look past the enemy in their face to focus on the imagined boogey-man is not only a symptom of serious mental illness - it's outright dangerous.

A Vietnam Veteran Speaks Out
March 6, 2010
Adam Kokesh, candidate for the Republican nomination for the US House of Representatives from the Third District of New Mexico, is doing his best to deceive the electorate. He portrays himself as a libertarian conservative, but he is neither libertarian nor conservative (unless he reinvents himself again). Most egregiously, he is attempting to portray himself as a patriotic anti-war/anti-military veteran in a manner reminiscent of John Kerry and Vietnam Veterans against the War (VVAW), in which Kerry tarnished the valor of his brothers-in-arms in order to advance his political career.
As did VVAW, Kokesh's Iraq Veterans against the War (IVAW) holds that America is an imperialistic country, that the military is merely a tool of the government, and that our soldiers are little more than marauders and murderers who, in the words of John Kerry, behave ''in a fashion reminiscent of Genghis Khan.''
I first met Adam when he and a motley group of Code Pink, MoveOn.org, IVAW (Iraq Veterans against the War), and other ''representatives'' of radical anti-American organizations formed up in front of the Army recruiting station in Washington, DC. Their clear intent was to create a disturbance, but the presence of a few dozen Gathering of Eagles members caused them to reconsider their plans.
I approached Adam and struck up a conversation, during the course of which I learned that he considered himself to be a libertarian. I replied that I considered myself a libertarian, as well, and that perhaps we could agree to disagree on the specific issue of the Iraq war. He seemed amenable to that, but his group reconvened in front of the recruiting station a few weeks later and trashed the place. It was then that I realized that the Adam Kokeshes of the world cannot be relied upon to compromise.
The next time I encountered Adam was last summer at an economic conference in St. Louis. That was when I first learned that he was running for Congress. He presided over a "promote Kokesh" seminar that I attended. He spouted off a basic libertarian message without including any of his own biography, which is, to say the least, nasty. Significantly, he claimed to have been honorably discharged as a sergeant from the US Marine Corps. Both claims are false, as will be demonstrated below.
Adam Kokesh is, in my view, a traitor to his country, and certainly to the United States Marine Corps, in which he "served" as a reservist for several months in a civil affairs unit in Iraq. Upon returning to the States, he enrolled in Claremont McKenna College in California.
While at Clarement McKenna, a pistol was stolen from his car, and Adam dutifully reported the theft to the campus police, who asked him where the pistol came from. Adam said that it was a war souvenir from Iraq, and it was not long before the USMC brought charges against him for smuggling an illegal weapon into the US. His then-pending discharge as a sergeant was changed to that of a corporal.
Adam just didn't know when to let well-enough alone, because in 2007 he was involved in a street demonstration in DC in which several anti-war protesters were arrested. It seems that he was involved in a bit of street theater in which he led a "combat patrol," in uniform, to protest the Iraq War. This event was sufficient newsworthy as to cause the Marine Corps to investigate Adam's involvement in what was obviously an unpatriotic act.
It seems that when the Marine major assigned the investigation contacted Adam by e-mail, Adam replied with a "f__k yourself," and the Corps thereupon initiated proceedings that resulted in his having his theretofore-honorable discharge downgraded to a general discharge.
Adam then continued to drive nails into his political coffin, as evinced by his visit to the US Army Garrison in Ansbach, Germany. His actions there were, by any measure, seditious, if not downright treasonous. In his own words, Kokesh imparted the following message to our troops:
"We are here to reach out to active duty members of the United States military stationed in Germany and let them know what they can do to help stop the US occupation of Iraq. Soldiers need to know that when they decide to resist, they will have the support and thanks of the global moral majority. We are also here to support the German peace movement. As in the United States, protestors are often dismissed as ignorant and childish, but with the voices of veterans backing them up, they have the credibility they deserve. It is clear that real change will not come from your government or ours, but rather from the righteous voice of compassion."
"The people of Ansbach have chosen to stand up not only to the imperialism of the United States, but also their own country's history of complicity. The US military has long chosen its own tactical advantage over the consideration of the people in the communities that it affects and claims to protect. It is sad that it has taken so long for Germans to make this stand, but we support them in their opposition."
"Germany has long been complicit in America's aggression. There is no longer any valid premise for the vast American presence in this country. It is not for your security or benefit, but supposedly for the benefit of America, and it is not in the world's best interest. The lesson of World War II should not be to remain silent during the next war of aggression." [Adam Kokesh; May 13, 2007; US Army Garrison, Ansbach, Germany]
A complete account may be viewed here:
http://www.ivaw.org/membersspeak/important-message-people-germany.
His personal report is at http://www.ivaw.org/node/787.
Adam Kokesh probably wishes that he had not been so open about his disloyalty, because he is now pretending to be a patriotic, libertarian-leaning, conservative Republican in his congressional campaign. Sorry, Adam; that just won't wash. You have shown your true colors, and America-loving patriots just won't let you get away with your masquerade.
Go ahead and renew your ties with the Code Pink/Winter Soldier/George Soros/IVAW crowd. Take off that suit and tie, and let your hair grow long in a John Kerry-lookalike manner. Be what you want to be, as long as it's not pretending to be an American patriot.

Kokesh: More History on the Commie RINO
By Bubba on Mar 6, 2010 | In Commies, RINOs, Pauly-Jonesy, Kokesh | Leave Comment »
Adam Kokesh wants to be a US congressman next year. So today he is practicing being a conservative Republican. I say practicing because it was only a year ago or so that he wanted to be a communist.
Poor feller can't make up his mind. I reckon he's still in search of himself?
Saying Kokesh wanted to be a communist is a rather strong accusation, isn't it? It's warranted. I've told you in several recent posts about his involvement with the anti-war movement, that he marched with and led demonstrations by thousands of leftists, anarchists, communists and old worn out 60's hippies. I've told you that I have witnessed with my own hazel eyes the betrayal of Kokesh.
Do you think I'm just making this up?

Then make note of this:

That's Adam Kokesh making protest signs in the ANSWER workshop in preparation for the antiwar protest I told you about here.
And don't forget that I also told you that Kokesh enjoys the endorsement of Ron Paul and has in turn endorsed N.C. Congressional candidate B.J. Lawson.
I wouldn't let a commie set foot in my yard, much less march with them, much less endorse one for congress, much less accept endorsement from one.

9/11 Families Reject Adam Kokesh as a Serious Candidate for Congress

» Adam Kokesh ‘runs’ for Congress; is an antiwar activist seeking to return Ben Lujan to the House?
Is Kokesh a grass roots fiscal conservative or an antiwar activist masquerading as a conservative-libertarian to deceive the people of New Mexico? Before voters there decide, perhaps they should review his multiple arrests — including for smuggling home a firearm — in addition to his anti-war protests while in uniform, anti-military recruitment actions, and travel to an allied nation to encourage U.S. soldiers stationed there to go AWOL.
I was at the Capital on September 15, 2007 when ANSWER, Code Poink, SDS, several thousand avowed communists and Adam Kokesh pitched their anti-war hissy fit. I was there as a member of the Gathering of Eagles, assigned to stand with and protect a group of Gold Star moms who were protesting the use of their fallen sons’ images and names by Adam’s comrades.
You would assume that Gold Star moms would need no protection, that they could expect nothing but respect from any American, right? Wrong. I watched and listened to those vile creatures as they marched past, shouting and cursing at these ladies. They spat, and jeered. They yelled “your son got what he deserved”.
We were several hundred American patriots, surrounded by thousands of anti-American leftists. I argued with punks that were mad that I called them commies, they told me I had no right to call them that – even though they carried Soviet flags.
Adam Kokesh was not just one of them, he was one of their leaders. He marched with anarchists, communists and troop-haters.
Now he’s a conservative Republican tea-partier? Oh hell no, I am not stupid. Said Fletcher to the Union Senator, “There’s another old saying Senator … don’t piss down my back and tell me it’s raining.”
Kokesh is a narcissistic, opportunistic parasite. He will take sides with whoever, whatever makes him feel good at the moment. That he has the backing of the Ron Paul cult is fitting, peas in pods.

An Open Letter to the Republican Party
Regarding Adam Kokesh
We are writing to you, to express our grave concerns about Adam Kokesh, who is aspiring to become the Republican nominee for US Congress from New Mexico’s 3rd district. Mr. Kokesh has an extensive and well-documented history of affiliations with radical leftist groups. In concert with these groups he has engaged in numerous anti-America and anti-military demonstrations and protests. Moreover, Mr. Kokesh does not appear to have any personal qualifications that would recommend him for serious consideration as a candidate for the Republican Party. He has a significant history suggestive of poor character and judgment, and he has notable incidents of direct activism against Republican office holders.
Affiliations with radical leftist groups
Mr. Kokesh joined the Iraq Veterans Against War (IVAW) in February 2007, at which time he was 25 years old. The IVAW was formed by the Vietnam Veterans Against War (VVAW), the now infamous group, formed by John Kerry in 1970, and responsible for the fraudulent maligning of our Vietnam veterans at the Winter Soldier Conference in 1971. It will be recalled that John Kerry now stands exposed as having repeated false accusations from that conference, during Congressional testimony in 1971.
Kokesh was involved in numerous anti-military, and by explicit extension, anti-Bush/Republican activities and actions. While executing these actions, Mr. Kokesh knowingly and gladly, made common cause with a wide array of other well-known, radical anti-America and communist groups. The list of these other groups includes, but is by no means limited to, the following:
SDS
Code Pink
A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition
United for Justice and Peace
Communist Party of America
Muslim Brotherhood
Black Panthers
In cooperation with the above-named groups and the IVAW, Mr. Kokesh: participated in multiple anti-war demonstrations in Washington DC, and other cities throughout the country; organized and incited violent demonstrations at military recruiting stations; participated in an initiative to encourage active duty soldiers to desert their military post; organized and participated in a Winter Soldier Conference 2, an effort designed to malign and undercut the moral of our soldiers who were fighting and dying on the battlefield. Even a most cursory search of the Internet will yield a plethora of documents attesting to the veracity of these assertions.
Character Issues
Mr. Kokesh’s personal accomplishments and achievements appear to be limited to his having served in the Marine Corps from 1999 until 2006, and his work as a political activist with the IVAW, from 2007 until 2009.
Kokesh has ever maintained any private sector employment, and unless otherwise proven, it might be assumed that his ‘work’ with the IVAW was financed through contributions to that organization, finances that often originated in leftist organizations such as MoveOn.org.
Other than an undergraduate degree in Psychology, there are no indications that Mr. Kokesh has achieved any academic standing that might, given his young age and his otherwise lack of general accomplishments, recommend him for serious consideration for Congress.
There are numbers of incidents in Mr. Kokesh’s personal life that suggest that he employs poor judgment. Examples of this include the following: he smuggled a gun home from Iraq, and then was apprehended when he bought it onto a college campus; he has incited protestors to engage in violent actions against military recruiting stations; and, he incited unrest on a college campus by hanging racist poster around the campus, and signing the posters as being from a member of the college’s conservative Republican organization.
Finally, there is no documented evidence that Mr. Kokesh has been supportive of the Republican Party prior to his campaign announcement in 2009. Yet, there are notable prior incidents in which he has joined with radical leftists in protesting Republican office holders. These include: a high-profile media mocking of Alberto Gonzales’s testimony to Congress regarding the dismissal of the U.S. attorney’s; interrupting John McCain’s acceptance speech at the 2008 Republican National convention; and; participating in a radical left anti-war march on the Bush home in Kennebunkport, Maine.
Given the above, it is our position that Mr. Kokesh is in no way qualified to represent the Republican Party in Congress. In fact, if his history is any indicator of his future performance, it is most likely that he will behave in a manner that is antithetical to the positions and values of the Republican Party. In our view, a Kokesh candidacy will at best, precipitate much conflict within the Republican Party, and, at worst, invite derision from outside of the party.
Like you, we are interested in maintaining the integrity of the Republican Party. We understand that this is a time when the party leadership is striving to reconcile disparate ideas within the party, and to clarify its unified voice. A Kokesh candidacy would be completely at odds with those strivings and ideals.
We are urging the Republican Party to withhold any endorsement of a ‘Kokesh for Congress’ candidacy. We look forward to hearing from you.
.
Kokesh for Congress? No thanks, we already have enough immoral narcissists in D.C.

After spending most of the last decade in the company of communists and anti-American groups like CodePink, ANSWER, Moveon.org, SDS and IVAW, Adam Kokesh is now a conservative republican running for congress.
Donkey Doodle!
Adam thinks we are stupid, or more specifically, he thinks New Mexico conservatives are stupid enough to believe that he has changed colors. Does he expect forgiveness for his association with commies, America-Bashers and Troop Haters? If so, he's forgotten to actually ask for it.
» Say NO!! to IVAW's Adam Kokesh, "Republican"?!!!! for Congress?
Note that Kokesh has the endorsement of Ron and Rand Paul? Does that means he's abandoned his old anti-war commie buds to hang with 9/11 truthers and Jew Haters. No way! Why would he? Truthers and anti-semites mix rather well with communists.
» DPNM: “Who is Adam Kokesh to lecture anyone on corruption?”
» Mullins: Kokesh’s actions “dishonor the military”
Kokesh has a national base of Tea Party advocates, but Mullins describes himself as an organizer in the Farmington Tea Party movement.
Wrong. Kokesh has a national base of Tea Party Infiltrators and usurpers.
