Harry Reid Really Wants to Retire, Won't You Please Help?
By Bubba on Jul 16, 2010 | In Liberal Monsters, Tea Party, GOP | Leave Comment »
Western Representation PAC, working with Tea Party Express and Defeat Reid 2010 have TV campaign ads prepared and ready for launch to help Harry go home - and stay there.
While only $20,000 short for getting Reid's retirement ads on the airwaves in Nevada, the leftists of that state have already ran ads against Sharron Angle attacking her for being conservative.
They need our help in getting Angle to congress, so poor ole Harry can finally take his place at the Old Traitors Retirement Home.
From Defeat Reid 2010:
Like many of Harry Reid's constituents, we do not feel that the Senator is representing the interests of the people of the great State of Nevada. Senator Reid has become one of the spokespersons for the expansion of government and for trillions of dollars in deficit spending.
You may have heard the ads calling on Nevadans to call and "Thank Harry Reid". We do not feel that mortgaging our children's future is a feat that deserves thanks. A forced retirement seems to be more fitting. Please don't worry about his welfare in retirement. According the Office of Personnel Management, Senator Reid will receive a retirement salary somewhere around $154,720 per year with full medical coverage.
The millions and millions Senator Reid has made since entering politics in 1967 will provide the extra to allow him to live a comfortable life. He is one of the richest members of the Senate.
If we do not start now, we will be faced with another six years of bigger government, more entitlement programs we cannot afford, and less and less civil liberties as a liberal congress pushes their agenda on all of America.

If you can, please donate a few dollars to help Harry retire.

Answering the Conservative Call
By Bubba on Nov 5, 2009 | In American Patriots, Tea Party, GOP | 8 feedbacks »
November 5, 2009
9:40pm
We just got home from Washington D.C., been driving since 5:00am. Too tired to talk about it. So here's some pictures.
Brief
Rep. Michelle Bachman called for Americans to come.
Unofficial count: 20,000
We answered the call of one representative to come to D.C., to the Capital, to protest the Dhimmicrat's Socialist Hellth Scare Bull.
We didn't answer the call of a Republican, cause if Newt had made the call, if McCain had made the call, if Graham had made the call - the capital lawn would have been empty today.
We answered the call of a Conservative.
Think about that, GOP.

PA State Legislator Attacked By Soros/MoveOn.Org-Connected VoteVets.Org
Pennsylvania State Representative Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler County) officially responded today to an attack ad now running on KDKA radio and several other local stations urging listeners to contact his district office and demand that he resign.
“The sponsors of this ad are attacking me because my comments have exposed that Operation Free’s radical leftist agenda has absolutely nothing to do with America’s national security, energy independence or protecting our environment, but is a direct attack on our Constitution,” said Metcalfe, a U.S. Army veteran whose honorable service record between1980-84 includes defending the West German border during the height of the Cold War.
Operation Free is a front group for a vast “non-profit” coalition that includes the Truman National Security Project, the National Security Network and the sponsor of the ad campaign VoteVets.org. VoteVets.org supports a far-left group of state and national politicians, including U.S. Congressman John Murtha. All of these groups are affiliated and receive funding from billionaire George Soros and his even more controversial political organization MoveOn.org.
“I stand by my original comments,” said Metcalfe. “Any veteran lending their name to promote the leftist propaganda of global warming and climate change, in an effort to control more of the wealth created in the U.S. economy, through cap-and-tax type policies, is a traitor to the oath he or she took to defend the Constitution of our great nation. If someone is advocating for our government to make statutory or regulatory changes in policy or enter into treaties that violate our Constitution, and they have taken an oath to uphold and protect that same document, then they are traitors to that oath.
“Operation Free and VoteVets.org stand with the likes of Congressman John Murtha, who accused our marines of killing ‘innocent civilians in cold blood.’ I stand with the vast super majority of my fellow veterans in defense of the U.S. Constitution,” concluded Metcalfe.

RINO Wakeup Call #4953
By Bubba on Sep 15, 2009 | In RINOs, GOP | 1 feedback »
On April 25,2008 I posted RINO Wakeup Call #2494
The purpose of that post was to point out to the GOP just how simple it would be to regain the support of conservatives - support in the form of registrations and contributions.
On September 9, 2009 Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) demonstrated - perfectly - what real Americans are waiting for. He told Obama "You Lie". He said it boldly. He said it in front of the cameras and microphones of the world.
Those two words were worth (currently) $750,000 in contributions to his campaign.
In response to the inevitable accusations and condemnations of the leftists, Wilson threw fuel to the fire with this statement:
“On these issues, I will not be muzzled, I will speak up and speak loudly against this risky plan,” ...
“The supporters of the government takeover of health care and the liberals who want to give health care to illegals are using my opposition as an excuse to distract from the critical questions being raised about this poorly conceived plan.”
GOP, did you see that? Did you make notes on it?
Two words = $750,000!
Brass Balls = Support
Jelly Beans = Contempt
Make a note on this too. Not only did Wilson garner support from the GOP base (no, the real GOP base, not the moderate-liberal-wannabes), he got real results.
Witness: Rep. Wilson Outburst Leads Senate Dems to Close Loophole in Health Reform Bill
Perhaps I need to change the title from RINO wakeup to just GOP wakeup, because the message is clear:

Of course, once all the RINOs are gone, there would be only a dozen or so real Republicans left. But that's fine by me, one real Republican is worth a thousand liberals.
I go now to donate to Wilson.
My Message to the GOP
By Bubba on Aug 18, 2009 | In RINOs, GOP | 2 feedbacks »
Ronald Reagan once said "I didnt leave the Democrat party, the Democrat Party left me."
We - the Tea Partiers, the townhallers, the protesters, the bloggers - didnt leave the GOP. The GOP just didnt keep up.
We've been calling ourselves the silent majority for decades, silently tolerating the leftists' ridicule, silently tolerating the government infringement of our rights, silently accepting more and more assumption of powers and authorities not allowed by the constitution, silently waiting for our government to execute their few constitutional duties and responsibilities.
Personally, I waited decades for an American president to fight an enemy and actually do it right and follow through to the end. After multiple dozens of attacks against American citizens and military by middle-eastern radicals, I had come to the conclusion that America no longer had the stones to fight anymore.
On the late morning of 9/11 I sat on the ground outside my workplace and was amazed by my total lack of emotion - except perhaps despair. I knew in my heart that America would do nothing to the people responsible for those attacks.
Bush gave me some hope that the fighting American spirit was not broken, and after he took the fight to the enemy, I watched in dismay as the leftists fought against their own country.
Then I waited. I waited for the GOP to stand up and counter the lies and attacks.
I waited.
I waited.
I waited.
For 8 years, almost daily, I watched liberal senators and representatives step to podiums and make accusations against the president, against our military, against our nation. Vile and despicable lies and accusations. I waited for republican senators and representatives to stand up and counter those lies and attacks.
I waited.
I waited.
I didnt wait alone. I was in good company. Millions of red-blooded Americans waited also. We waited in vain.
The GOP never made a stand, never grew a spine. Instead, in 2008 they gave us a wishy-washy, RINO candidate that had proven time and time again that he had no intention of standing up against the socialist, statist, liberal, anti-American dhimmicrats. Instead of attacking his opponent, McCain defended him against our justified accusations.
Obama and the dhimmicrats did not WIN the 2008 election. It was forfeited. It was given to them. Too many conservatives decided they were not going to continue playing a losing game and they stayed at home.
Obama and the dhimmicrats, in their arrogance and raw hunger for power, saw the election outcome as a mandate for them to charge, full throttle, into the socialization that they have long dreamed of.
The GOP, in their ignorance and cowardice, continued belly-crawling to the left, celebrating the party moderates and RINOs while condemning the few outspoken conservative firebrands and preparing to just get along with their new overlords, the dhimmicrats.
Beginning in February, conservatives across the nation collectively realized that if the job of the Republican party was going to get done, we would have to do it ourselves. Individuals came together and formed small groups. Tea parties were planned and organized. By August when congress went to recess, the tea party groups and other internet-based organizations had established a network of contacts that were used to notify the people when townhalls were scheduled.
Now the dhimmicrats are announcing retreat on the public option. It's a lie, a feint tactic - but it signals their new-found respect for the American people, or perhaps fear. The tea partiers they ridiculed, and the townhallers they denounced as un-American have made a profound impression on the surprised dhimmicrats.
I think the GOP is equally surprised. I also think the GOP is way too smug in their confidence that this movement of the people is in their favor. The GOP believes this is their victory and are ready to capitalize on it.
If the republicans are honest with themselves they will realize that all this work has been done by conservatives that are not working with the GOP but in spite of it. If all those people had waited for the RINO infested, white flag waving GOP to fight the socialists in power, Obama's health care scam would already be law. We would all be comrades by now.
Does the Republican party want to gather all the tea party warriors under it's wing now? Will the GOP organize us and fund us to carry on the fight? They would like to.
Not gonna happen. I cant speak for the movement, but personally I've been independent since 2004. I will not take a penny from the GOP, nor will I give a penny. These battles have been waged, victories secured without the GOP - we will continue in like manner.
Furthermore, the Republican party should brace itself and prepare - because when we're done with the dhimmicrats we're coming for you.
RINO Wakeup Call #2494
By Bubba on Apr 25, 2008 | In RINOs, GOP | Leave Comment »
For the last 3 or 4 years, my wife and I have been answering calls from the GOP - invitations to resume donations to the RINO party. The reponse has always been the same: No.
As long as the Republican party continues to act like Dhimmicrats, legislate like Dhimmicrats and offers liberal candidates like Dhimmicrats, we will not contribute. I have told them time after time that if the GOP starts performing in the interests of conservatism and grows enough spine to quit pandering to liberals - the money will flow.
This week the news agencies are all a-twitter over a North Carolina GOP sponsored TV ad. The ad bashes Hussein Obama, bangs him on the head with a blunt truth. Of course, the liberals, moonbats and the NAACD are outraged and spout charges of racism and assorted boohoo-ing.
Big Deal, no surprise there.
Now John McCain has entered the fray - on the wrong side. He demands that the NCGOP not use the ad because it's not the kind of message he wants for his campaign. In other words, he still thinks he can play nicey-nice with the Dhimmicrats - that they can all just git along if'n we dont make em mad.
Well John, you dont own the party. You aint the boss - yet. And you obviously havn't dealt with North Carolinians enough to know better.
Yesterday, the NCGOP announced that they WILL run the ad. Well Hooray! sez I. Do I detect the beginnings of spine? Why yes! I think I do!
That's why I drove over to the NC GOP HQ on Hillsborough Street in Raleigh today - and handed over a personal check for 100 American Dollars.
I was not alone. I had to wait in line. That office is absolutely swamped with donations. The phones are ringing constantly. They're taking donations from ALL.OVER.THE.COUNTRY, yaw.
So, wuz I right? or was I right? Show some backbone GOP, respect your base (the CONSERVATIVES) and the money will flow.
