The Tea Party movement, The 912 Project, etc., which seem to be gaining popularity in response to big government tyranny, are simply the people of this Country spontaneously remembering what our Founders envisioned for an engaged populous. A government Of The People, By The People, and For The People must be made up of The People engaged in their own governance. The awakening of Civic Responsibility in this Country was forestalled by an insidious plan foisted upon us by the Progressive Left. We have been lulled to sleep by the whisperings of peaceful security by the Serpent of Socialism.

Grassroots? I think not. We are simply starting to be the citizens that we should have been all along. We should be well rested from the century-long vacation that we have had. Time to roll up our sleeves and take care of the business of governing.

Sarah Palin hit the nail on the head when she told the Tea Party Nation Convention that this repeated mantra of ‘bi-partisanship’ needs to find exit. Quickly. Like right now.

From what Scott Brown has been telling about his senatorial style, it appears he is of the same conviction cloth. He’s not going to be cute with other Congressmen; instead, he’s going to stand up for what Brown believes and so go at it.

It’s time that this wishy-washy laudatory verbiage be cut out of Congressmens’ giving forth. It does not make points with the grassroots.

Let feathers fly. Let sparks flash. Let the moralist convictions light up the sky.

It's about time. The curse that some know as Facebook suffered a religious edict from a prominent Muslim cleric (let's just call him Yabba Dabba Doo for ease of reading).

Folks, I take pride in having read each and every article I link to on this lil website of mine. This article, I didn't actually read the whole thing.
One reason it's Doug Ross, and after so many years I know he don't write trash.
The main reason: "Yabba Dabba Doo for ease of reading". That's funny enough to me to pass this one on without reading the rest.

In what appears to be an unfortunate gaffe, however, Dabba Doo's fatwa was initially posted on Twitter.

I agree. Obama's mis-pronunciation is revealing on several levels.
1 - It reveals that his 'vast' education just didn't take. The word is part of the english language and as such, knowledge or familiarity with the military is not required to know how the word is pronounced. It's a demonstration of ignorance that could be acceptable from someone with only a high school education, but not from the president of the United States of America. It's an indication of illiteracy.
2 - Education and literacy aside; once again, he's the president - the Commander in Chief. Unfamiliarity with the word reveals the depth of his ignorance of his military AND his absolute disdain and contempt of them. As pointed out in the linked article, the president is surrounded daily, protected and guided by hundreds of Marine Corpse-mans, and after a year still doesn't have enough respect to learn how to pronounce their name.
3 - The guy that's spent the last year typing speeches into the Teleprompter-in-Chief, should have realized by now that his boss is a total moron and would not know how to pronounce such a big, complicated word like Corps. He should have known to type it in phonetically, (core man). But no. That's because the dumby-in-chief has surrounded himself with people of his own caliber.

Those charming ladies from NOW are too busy protesting Tim Tebow to offer comment. In fact, they never do seem to have a problem with honor killings. Probably don't want to offend anyone.

The reporter here is obviously too afraid to use the word Muslim.
