» The Fort Hood terrorist as a military role model
We have read a lot about the background of the alleged killer, Nidal Hasan, and we don’t know of any basis on which to think he agreed with Code Pink’s stated position that “our soldiers clearly need more care.” In any case, mowing them down in cold blood would seem an odd way to give voice to such a view. Yet the
Code Pink ladiescOdePoink Pigs are eager to have us believe that the killer is a kindred spirit. They think that imputing their opinions to him strengthens their case via an appeal to authority: “Even US military officers think so.”
The strikeout and editing in the above excerpt is my doing. Sorry. I have a problem with the use of the word "ladies" and the pink pigs in the same sentence. ~~Bubba
Code Pink’s motto could be: “Our officers support Code Pink when they shoot their troops.”
Screeching Moonbat Alert
» Woody Harrelson: Chevron Behind Afghanistan War, Jimmy Carter 'Pretty Great'
Just another hollywood clown that really, truly thinks he is smart - because, I reckon, he's played the part of smart guys on occasion. He's also played some stooopid characters, and those may be the best of his performances.
Anyway, Harrelson is a member of the 'Blood for Oil' TinFoilHat Club, where all subscribers just know that America wages war for the profit of big corporations. Can't prove it - just know it.
It's an easy conclusion to jump to from the conclusion that Capitalism is the root of all greed and evil.
Dont Feed the Moonbats! Avoid putting any of your money in the pockets of fools and socialists. Put Woody and any film he's involved in on your "Rather Shave My Head with a WeedEater" list.
» NYT Columnists Who Blamed Conservatives for 'Right-Wing' Killings Ignoring Fort Hood Massacre
As of November 13, eight days after the Fort Hood murders, neither Rich, Krugman, or Warner have mentioned the massacre, much less Hasan’s radical Islamic beliefs. Only Bob Herbert devoted two sentences to Hasan on Saturday, using the killings as a leaping-off point to talk about post-traumatic stress suffered by veterans home from Iraq and Afghanistan (even though Hasan hasn’t even seen combat).
If job growth is the overriding focus of Obama’s administration, than Barack Hussein Obama is a failure of the highest order. Every month since passing of the $787 billion stimulus pork bill, the unemployment rate has in actuality been higher with the bill than what “experts” predicted in theory without the bill. The stimulus bill didn’t “bring the economy back from the brink,” as Obama says at least once a week. The economy is worse despite the stimulus bill than it was predicted to be without it.
Translation: The Recovery Act is a big fat failed waste of taxpayer dollars. And forgive me for thinking this wasn’t just an honest mistake. It was a deliberate economy-destroying scam. Possibly the biggest scam in American history other than the looming cap-and-tax bill and government-run health (s)care. (And whodathunk that the three biggest prosperity-depleting scams in American history all would have happened within one year under the same administration and under the same Congress?)

Lemme Summit Furya
It's a story of two airline companies, one that failed and one that prospered ... or more to the point one that was unionized and one that wasn't.
The non-union airline bought out the failed, unionized airline.
Due to "changes in the rules" the successful, non-union airline may be forced to accept unionization.
The rule changes were made by none other than the best friend a union thug could ever hope for - Obama.
» Obama in China and Twilight for America
Obama's international tour of bowing only highlights his weakness. His global popularity is as shallow as that of any celebrity, and only serves to signal America's weakness. Each of Obama's fumbling speeches has failed to achieve any tangible result except to express America's helplessness and willingness to concede on every front. Buzzwords like "New Relationship", "Multilateralism" and "Strategic Reassurance" are the ways in which Obama and his foreign policy minions phrase their "New Incompetence".

Japan expert to ABC: Yes, Obama’s bow made him look like an idiot
So much of an idiot, in fact, that ... at least one Japanese paper isn’t running the photo out of embarrassment. This tool actually groveled himself into a minor international incident.

» General Motors Reports $1.2B 3Q Loss, Says Sign of Progress
General Motors Co. says it lost $1.2 billion from the time it left bankruptcy protection through Sept. 30, far better than it has reported in previous quarters and a sign that the auto giant is starting to turn around its business.
The company also says it will begin repaying $6.7 billion in U.S. government loans with a $1.2 billion payment in December. It could pay off the full amount by 2011, four years ahead of schedule, but the money will come from funds loaned by the government.

I guess there's no real point to this .... Just to say that every morning I wake up I expect to see more damage having been done to our country and our culture by this dangerous man placed into office by people who were seduced by slogans and others who voted for Obama because he looked like them. Maybe I'm just dreaming of a country where voters have to exhibit a modicum of intelligence before they're allowed to cast votes. And don't give me that "right to vote" nonsense. The right doesn't exist in federal elections. Someday, when the final history of our Republic is written, we're going to understand the long-term consequences of opening the polls to people without a clue.
... based on his performance thus far, President Barack Hussein Obama is the last man I'd want as commander-in-chief during a war. If he wants to pull out, well and good. We're probably better off. The problem of course is that Obama always wants it both ways, because it's about him , you see. Not only does he want kudos from his Leftist base for leaving, he wants everybody to forget all those cute remarks he made about how Afghanistan was 'the real war' one that he wouldn't neglect like President Bush did.
