One of the biggest, most distorted and lied about international emergencies is global warming and its relatives…the greens…. carbon emissions concerns, cap and trade and the push to sign international environmental treaties….ala Copenhagen coming up. There are only 3 things I can honestly say about the environmental movement. LIE! LIE! LIE!

Newsflash for MSNBC: the 'P' in PTSD stands for "POST". What that means is that one has to be exposed to traumatic stress prior to contraction of infectious PTSD - you stupid hacks.

The reasoning is stupefying, even for liberals: Hasan was distraught over the possibility of having to go to a war zone and decided to work through his trauma by creating a bloodbath on an Army base. By the way, was the possibility of combat never mentioned to Hasan during his years with the Army?

That question should also be directed to the pussies of IVAW and Vets for Peace.

California regulation may kill GPS and convertibles

At issue is a rule being considered by the California Air Resources Board (CARB) threatening to require all cars and light trucks sold in California after 2012 to feature metallic reflective window glazing to keep interiors cool and thus use less air conditioning. Less AC, goes the theory, would mean lower carbon emissions.

It's easy enough to dismiss this as just another case of stupid babbling from chuckle-head politicians voted into power by PC-addled descendants of 60's hippy rejects.
But let's not do that. The people responsible for dangerous legislation like this, (no, the ones really responsible) know exactly what they're doing.

The rule would be particularly infuriating because it's unnecessary. Manufacturers have offered at least two other nonmetallic methods - using light-absorbing materials rather than reflecting materials - to reduce the warming effect of sunlight on cars. Those methods do not interfere with radio signals and are cheaper.

If it was all about saving gas and saving the enviornment and saving the world, they wouldn't be insisting on forcing the use of bad ideas, bad materials and bad methods over the good ones; when the good and the bad both achieve their stated goals.
No, the intent is to further cripple the auto industry and thereby the American economy.
