“Well, that’s under certainly the laws of the--protect the health, welfare of the country ,,, That’s under the Constitution. We’re not even dealing with any constitutionality here. Should we move in that direction? What does the Constitution say? To provide for the health, welfare and the defense of the country.”

To distill Gorism is to live in a 1,000 sq. ft. solar house, bike to work, and take the train on long distances; but to promote Gorism, one lives in a mansion, jets on private planes, and is chauffeured from airport to conference center—a rather heavy carbon footprint indeed. I mention that because this week he has insisted that he only invested in what he believes in and is thus not a hypocrite—sort of like a 1990s Fannie or Freddie director saying he is only taking mega-bonuses because he believes in public support for housing.
» Captain Carbon Admits Inconvenient Truth: AGW Is A Religion
Al’s Gore’s much-anticipated sequel to An Inconvenent Truth is published today, with an admission that facts alone will not persuade Americans to act on global warming and that appealing to their spiritual side is the way forward. (Gee, if the facts were against me I might resort to superstitious mumbo jumbo too, especially if it meant $Billion$ in my wallet.)
The Obama administration sure knew how to put the old clunk in Cash 4 Clunkers.
The program was expensive, lethargic and loaded with paperwork, but at least it got fuel efficient cars on the road, right?
When you're done laughing at the stupidity of the cash4clunkers show, remember that it was implemented by the same clown parade that's voting this weekend to socialize your medical care.

Evolution of English
Each and every time the word "racist" comes out of the mouth of a dhimmicrat, moonbat or misery-hustler (Sharpton,Jackson) the word means less. It's meaning becomes more tainted, twisted - diluted.
The word "racist" used to mean something, it used to be a title that invoked scorn and shame - as it should.
» Ridiculous “RAAAACISM” charge of the day
At first news of the massacre at Fort Hood, how many people knew, without knowing, that the shooter was muslim? I did.
And that makes me a racist, at least in the pea size leftist mind - even though they nor I had no idea what race the shooter was.
The 'R' word has been used so many times to denigrate political foes that too many people don't even know what the word means.

What ticks me off now, and several of the Repubican representatives alluded to this yesterday at the Capitol, the Republicans are pushing their own version of healthcare. Yes the dhimwit, libtard, socialist version is unconstitutional. No, the fact that the pubbies decide to offer up their own version does NOT magically make it constitutional.
Even after November 3, they still don't listen ... they better begin before the 2010 elections or many of them will be looking for work.
Stop over again sometime and join the insanity.
