The Patriot Tsunami (Updated)

When I first sat down to work on this post, I thought I would just post my single video I've uploaded with a brief synopsis of the day's events. Let it go with that, because after all an event of the magnitude of September 12, 2009 should be the headline story of every TV, Cable and newsprint media across the nation.
Fortunately, I came to my senses, remembering that the media is controlled by liberals and any reports (if any at all) would be slanted, biased and just outright lies.
That wouldn't be fair to you if you don't know how or where to look on the new-real-media (the internet) for comprehensive coverage of the largest political protest in the history of America.
The. Largest. Political. Protest. Ever.
And I was in the middle of it. Were you?
September 12, 2009
Washington, D.C.
Beginning around 7:00am, Freedom Plaza at 14th and Pennsylvania began filling up with right-wing extremist, flag-waving, Constitution-quoting, sign-totin' patriots ... the biggest tea party that ever was. When the plaza was completely full and all streets in the area were clogged with protesters, we all began a march up Pennsylvania Ave to the capital. It took almost three hours for all 1.5 million of us to get to the capital lawn.
The rally that took place at the capital was unequaled by any of the huge events of the 60's - or any other time.
There's not much more I can say to convey the magnitude so let's just read the words of others, look and some pictures and watch some videos.
My local news rag, the News & Observer of Raleigh, N.C. did a fairly decent report on the day of. Their miscount of the numbers is understandable considering that from the point of view of any one person it was impossible to gauge the size of the crowd. Plus, even Fox News was reporting only "tens of thousands" at the time.
» Thousands of downtown DC protesters blast Obama
But, on the other hand, and at the same time, the DailyMailOnline (in Londond, England) got it right:
» Up to two million march to US Capitol to protest against Obama's spending in 'tea-party' demonstration
» Conservative Woodstock Rocks the Capital
» Our 9/12 march on DC

My Photos
This set of photos were all taken at Freedom Plaza - the staging area for the march. From my vantage point at the rally point of the North Carolinians, not all of the crowd could be seen.

To put the above photo in perspective, the next one is an enlargement of the stage area in the center of the above photo. I've circled the person speaking.

I have no idea what that means, but it's still funny. This man's sign says
"Healthcare 'Reform' is Deficit Neutral
I have no idea what you're talking about ...
So here's a bunny with a pancake on it's head.

Someone says something really stupid,
and you say, "I have no idea what you said, so here's a bunny with a pancake...(etc etc)"
They say, "A bunny with a pancake....(etc,etc),??
That doesn't make any sense"
You say..."EXACTLY!!!"
The bunny/pancake question has been answered!
Thanks, CB.
