For NC District 4 and America, the Price is Wrong

David Price, that is.
Representative David Price, NC 4th District has proven, without doubt, that he is a partisan - a hardcore Democrat.
I recently had a discussion with my brother-in-law's father in which he expressed his dissatisfaction with our governor, Beverly Perdue. He stated that she had demonstrated the depth of her ignorance of law, constitution and other aspects of the job for which she campaigned for and was ultimately elected. In particular, the fact that she had appointed William Harrison as chief exec of public education in disregard of the elected State Superintendant of Public Instruction June Atkinson. (An appointment that was subsequently slapped down by the court).
But then he stated that he voted for Perdue. His excuse? "Well, I'm a hard-core Democrat".
To which I responded, "That's no excuse for your demonstration of ignorance. I am a hard-core American".
That, I believe, is one of the defining differences between Rep. David Price and his 2010 challenger Frank Roche. Price is a hard-core Democrat. Roche is a hard-core American.
I first read about Republican Frank Roche somewhere on the internet sometime around the end of June, this year. I met him at the July 4 Tea Party in Raleigh. A couple of weeks later I sat in his kitchen and listened to his official campaign kickoff stump speech. Then my wife and I sat with him on his back-yard deck and discussed the pressing issues facing America.
I'm sold.
I agree with the statement on his campaign website:
I have the right message, at the right time, and the courage to say the words. The words needed to help redirect America back towards her founding values of individual liberty, a federalist system constrained by the Constitution and its stated checks and balances, free enterprise and managed capitalism, a strong defense, and abundant national pride.
and ...
According to staff at David Price's office in Chapel Hill, the Congressman has no scheduled public appearances during the congressional recess.
David Price supports a single payer government health care program. According to his congressional web site: "any plan to achieve universal coverage must include a carefully crafted, publically administered option."
David Price supports Cap & Trade.
Goto www.rocheforcongress.com and read what Frank has to say about the issues. I think you will notice an important attribute, Frank Roche knows the truth. I know this because he speaks with truth.
Ultimately, when making your decision on which lever to pull, that's all you have to work with.
The Price is Wrong, the Roche is Right.
It's just that dang simple.
While you're on his website, drop a buck or two in the tip jar. It aint cheap gettin' rid of Democrats these days.
