» When did the lowbrows take over the culture?
No sane and sensible taxpayer could possibly believe that spending trillions and trillions of dollars on blue-sky fantasies makes any sense at all; the only reason Americans aren't in open rebellion yet is that half of them can't believe it's happening, and the other half are idiots.
...look at the global warming farce, still hotly pursued by the political classes in Europe and this country, although the Australians seem to be coming to their senses. China now has more millionaires than the UK, because they use all their resources, like coal, to fire their industrial plants. They will never sacrifice a single luxury car to the cap and trade fraud. Neither will India. China and India have been under the thumb of egomaniacal socialists (in the case of India) and communists (in the case of China). They've been there, done that, seen the suffering.
Obama himself is smart enough; even smart enough to say a few years ago that he didn't feel ready for the presidency. Well, now we can see why he said that.
That should be enough excerpts for you to realize you really need to go read the whole thing.
» Coup averted in Honduras, legitimate government upheld
Take a moment to ponder, if you will, the “no meddling” policy in Iran, our outright interference in Israel’s affairs (to the detriment of her security), and this speedy condemnation of the legitimate Honduran government dealing quickly with a would-be despot. It shouldn’t take you more than about ten seconds to realize exactly who and what Obama is — by his reflexive support for Leftists and tyrants, and his opposition to free, open, democratic nations. Anyone failing to recognize Obama’s own despotic tendencies after such an easy lesson is simply too obtuse to bother with.
» Obama And The Honduras Shuffle
To give you an idea of how far to the Left the Obama Administration is, we have the amazing spectacle of this Presdent and his Secretary of State gnashing their teeth and making common cause with Venezuala's Hugo Chavez and Cuba's Castro in their disapproval and anger over the removal of a Communist Latin American dictator!
So this 'coup' was performed by the Supreme court, the Congress, the Attorney general and pretty much every branch of the Honduran government!
So what was Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton's response to this? Do you even have to wonder?
Obama called the so-called 'coup' illegal and "a terrible precedent."
Isn't that just lovely? North Korean nukes? No comment.Iran butchers its citizens in the streets and foments Islamist terrorism world wide? Hey, we still want to extend that outstretched hand and the Mullahs have the right to nukes too, no? Syria murders political opponents, gets caught with an illegal North Korean reactor and supports and finances Hezbollah? Let's just restore full diplomatic relations and not quibble about little things like that.
But Honduras legally ousting a leftist would be dictator? Now that's crossing the red line!
Americas: During his campaign, President Obama made a big deal of criticizing leaders who are elected democratically but don't govern democratically. He's had a chance to show that it mattered in Honduras. He didn't.
We Now Have A Total Gangster Government
» Sharia Rapidly Innundating The UK
» The EPA Report That Could Have Sunk the C(r)ap and Trade Bill — And the Suppression Thereof
The Obama administration's hostility to missile defense is inexplicable. The missile threat is growing, and defensive technology is increasingly effective, yet the Obama team has dug in stubbornly behind a losing strategy that emboldens our enemies and places us in greater danger. No wonder Hawaiians are nervous.

» Stimulus FAIL, Chapter 723
We recently learned that "Hope for Homeowners" made a grand total of..... wait for it..... 51 loans.
FIFTY ONE? No, that is not a misprint. And 50 of them are held up pending ongoing federal investigation.
CHANGE!
HOPE!
» What was in the Waxman-Markey 'Manager's Amendment'?
The Green Gestapo, for starters. Once again, Barack Obama reads bald-face lies to the American people from his teleprompter.
» Genocide or massacre, US repeating mistakes of the past
"We come here today partly in recognition of the fact that we in the United States and the world community did not do as much as we could have and should have done to try to limit what occurred...All over the world there were people like me sitting in offices who did not fully appreciate the depth and speed with which you were being engulfed by this unimaginable terror." – Pres. Bill Clinton in his apology to the Rwandan people for his lack of intervention during the Rwandan genocide of 1994.
"It is not productive, given the history of US-Iranian relations, to be seen as meddling -- the US president, meddling in Iranian elections." – Pres. Barack Obama commenting on Iran's stolen 2009 election.
» ACES Up Her Sleeve
Likely there would have been many more Democratic "no" votes if Madame-Speaker and Energy & Commerce chairman Henry Waxman didn't find creative ways to shorten or skip every step of that "How a Bill Becomes a Law" song.
» Health insurance reform: as Massachusetts goes…
» Why liberals support cap and trade
Well, besides the fact that they're mostly either stupid or communistically leaning.
[communistically?] Is that real word? Just add that to list of Bubbonics.
» An endangered America
July 4th is a good day to demand that President Barack Hussein Obama—born in Mombassa, Kenya, raised in Indonesia, and leaving no paper trail in America—resign before he does further harm to all Americans, to the American dream, and to the hope of freedom in the hearts of men and women everywhere in the world.
» Republicans in the Wilderness
Just two nuclear bombs were enough to get Japan to surrender in World War II. It is hard to believe that it would take much more than that for the United States of America to surrender--especially with people in control of both the White House and the Congress who were for turning tail and running in Iraq just a couple of years ago.
Ronald Reagan won two elections in a landslide by being Ronald Reagan--and, most important of all--explaining to a broad electorate how what he advocated would be best for them and for the country. Newt Gingrich likewise led a Republican takeover of the House of Representatives by explaining how the Republican agenda would benefit a wide range of people.
Neither of them won by pretending to be Democrats. It is the mushy "moderates"-- the "kinder and gentler" Bush 41, Bob Dole and John McCain-- who lost disastrously, even in two cases to Democrats who were initially very little known, but who knew how to talk.
